Hello to all the Readers out here,

This has come to the notice of few of the writers that some readers (not mentioning names) do not bother to read the update / chapter and comment just like that.

I don't have a problem in PMing people at all and I'm not gonna threaten you by saying that I'll discontinue my stories. I will write coz I'm passionate about it and even if I have one such loyal reader, I would write for that person.

So please, a humble request to all those people who comment on the stories just for the sake of increasing their number of posts, please don't. I'm not hungry for comments which are not genuine and honest. If you continue with copy-paste comments and comments mentioned below, I shall ignore them.

We writers can clearly differentiate between an actual comment and a copy-paste comment and thus I shall skim those people out from my list soon.

And if you genuinely read the update, please write at least a line about the update rather than "sweet", "cute", "awesome", "likd it.. cont soon"

These ^^^ are really annoying to come across. I understand many of you say that you don't have the time and all such excuses, but that's real bullshit. If you have time to read the chapter, you can also spend a few more seconds to drop in a genuine comment.

This is a request from all writers to the readers. I don't mean to sound rude but this is how it is. PERIOD. Have anything to say, drop in your comment.

Yes... "Continue Soon"... This is the most annoying comment especially when it is on posts like this or an OS or after the epilogue of the story

Commenting just for the sake of it or increasing posts is unacceptable

Even I am a reader... I agree it is not possible to leave long comments always but one can surely drop 2 lines to show that you are actually reading it

We writers can make out who is actually reading and who is not

A genuine comment does not mean a long one... rather even few words would do as long as they are honest and encouraging

Plzz such readers who fake that they have read should rather not leave comments

You guys needn't comment altogether , rather than such for the heck of it comments. And that's absolutely fine by us.

Because with those copy pasted comments, which we can totally make out, y'all are just demeaning our work. NOT cool.

Anyway, don't have much to say.

I think with this post; you've taken the words out of every writer's mouth. Seriously it's so ridiculous. Everyone has mentioned it here 'Continue Soon' is definitely the most annoying comment.

I'm a reader myself and I make it a point where I comment a line or two to tell the reader what I liked and what I didn't. It really motivates the writers. Being a writer I can relate to this post because we spend a minimum of three to four hours just to get something down for people to enjoy. Threatening to stop the story because of less comments and decreasing likes is not fair on those loyal readers who stick through and comment letting the writers know that their hard work is genuinely appreciated.

We're not asking for paragraphs of comments but a line or two will do the job. Just a genuine comment will encourage the writers when they know that people look forward to reading their work. 'awesome update' 'continue soon' 'loved it' all these comments are so irritating and are just repetitive on a lot of stories.

People who pretend that they have read the update; I would prefer if they stop commenting rather than the silly copy and paste comments just to increase their posts.

Agree di.. Its nt ur fault... There are some dog tails on IF who dont wanna improve themselves and we cant help it out .. U juts concentrate on ur works and remember we are there always 😊

I know now a days I give only 4 lines of comments but at least I read the whole update.

I agree 100% with my munchkins...

If yew have the time to read the story then yew can have the time to at least post a comment about it ??? Like munchkins said , a line could do the job ..

They are not asking for a whole paragraph about the story , they just want some appreciation and love from the reader. 😊

I know it's not my fault. 😃 And those few readers/non readers would not decide the fate of my stories coz I'll write for the people who read.
