Similarities between Aahil and Sanam
1.They lost their father to Homicide.
2. They were raised by guardians after losing their parents.
3. They have two sisters.
4. They both are go getters.
5. They are ambitious.
6. They are volatile.
They turned out to be so different yet so similar at the same time. Yes they are meant to be because they are made for each other. <3 <3 <3
Now coming to our flawed HERO, Aahil Raza Ibrahim:
My QH soul sister soup thinks that he is a weak hero. I neither agree nor disagree.
My take on Aahil Raza Ibrahim Vs other larger than life heroes.
1. They were raised by loving and positive people, people who genuinely cared for them and raised them with values. Dilshad is a woman of substance, the iron lady of QH. ARI was raised by the manipulate, evil, crazy, dangerous, deceitful, vile, obnoxious (I can go on and on) step mom Tannu and a physically abusive father and yet he does not have any of those traits.
2. The larger than life heroes lived with people with values and morals. ARI lives with Khala, khalu, Azhar, and his sisters. Yet he tolerates them and cares deeply for his sisters. He does not object to her wearing western clothes ... and that top was really short.
3. It is not his fault that he was born into a rich family. But any day a loving and caring family is better than a rich family. He takes his business seriously, because no matter what statehe is in , he is ready to talk to his clients and business partners anywhere, anytime in any state of mind.
4. He is an unapologetic Casanova, he clearly lays out the terms of his relationship. He does not force himself on anyone. He lets them know that this is just casual physical relationship for him.
5. He burnt down Sanam's Dhaba in a state of rage and revenge. He was publically slapped by a girl, was about to be thrown out of the Dhaba. He reimbursed Sanam for the loss. But our dear Sanam burnt his car. So they were kind of even there. But we all know how important it was for the Dhaba to burn, Sanam to reach Bhopal and SaHil to begin.
6.The master of the Manor becomes a puppet in his Ammi's hand not only because he has the misconception that he owes his life to his Ammi but also because he loves her, reveres that pious step mom who gave up her life and youth in order to shield her step son.
7. He tries to seek solace in Wine and Women because he is guilt ridden, he has been molded by Tannu, he is lonely and the two Ws serve as disposable companions, deep down he thinks that he is a devil, a bad man whereas other heroes had a very high opinion about themselves. He is trapped in his guilt.
Gul's other Heroes were raised in positive and conducive environment. ARI was raised in a hostile environment amongst greedy and selfish people, crazy people, yet he held his own. He is strong that is why he survived otherwise he would have been vile.
Aahil is not Rashid...
Aahil listens to his Badi Ammi because he loves her, reveres her and thinks that she is the next best thing after sliced bread. He is not scared of her, is not under any kind of pressure. He was not blackmailed into doing this. Maybe he trusts his Ammi's business acumen also. We all know how Shatir Tannu is. We know everything that is to know about Tannu but Aahil has a completely different opinion about her. He knows that she wants his happiness and wants him to succeeded. And Rashid was selfish, weak and was unwillingly controlled by Siddiquis. Aahil does it because he loves his step mom unconditionally, out of sense of gratitude. He never cheats anybody, he owns his mistakes except for the homicide which I am sure that he did not commit.
Aahil is indeed lovable because.

He has a multilayered, complex personality. He is ruthless. These dimensions add to his personality, he becomes a human... a totally relatable human.

He is affectionate towards his Ammi, sisters, Rehan and even the free loaders.
He is conscientious : He paid the truck driver, Sanam as well as the vegetable vendor to make up for the losses they suffered. He regretted and apologized for beating up the room service guys.
He does not force himself on anyone.
He was very respectful in his conversation with Dilshad.
The angry young man's temper is very short lived , He was sad after being mean to Rehaan.
He is compassionate, as he spent 10 lakhs to bring a smile on a young lad's face.
He has attitude <3 lots of attitude.
He is one charming dude who is waiting for his soul mate to complete him.
He will be our strong hero as he will ultimately lead to Billi's downfall.

I agree with it all. And I think me agreeing with anything good about QH is a lot 😆
He's not a totally bad guy. Even though he makes you wanna give him a slap just as tight as those jeans he wears...You can see he has a heart.
Someone compared him to Rashid? Madness...We all know Rashid didnt have a spine uptil the day he died. Aahil has a spine, balls, cajones and every other name in the book. I mean...the smug son of a bitch burnt down the girl's restaurant and gave her money to buy a new one all cool. 😆

I agree with most of what you've written. A wonderful post.

He not only doesn't object to much of her wardrobe, he even said he'll buy her the exact same top he had just said was too short.😆

wow amber what a much needed post . and the second one with soup's in tandem ...this weekend ! the best part is both posts are different although discusses the same topic !

.i am guessing that many more facets will come into the fore for ARI and we will get a more clearer picture ...he is an interesting hero ...with vulnerabilities and aura. The main dialogue which showed what a lonely person he is ...is the one on death . Beautifully portrayed ...Third person account was by lateef who shares that his laat saheb has a generous heart !
His part about managing work is well highlighted by you ..no matter what frame of mind and we witnessed that on Thursday he is always ready to strike the deal !

Can we call him irresponsible ? He takes care of his sisters and ensures that family and business is smoothly functioning ! he is prompt to receive call from his ammi no matter what situation he is in and never misses it ! yet ...he has a weakness like all normal people and this time it is for wine and women and he doesn't make any bones about either of them .He is flawed and somewhere he also knows it .
He is lonely and doesn't let anyone penetrate the wall ! what type of lover will be ARI ? A possessive lover ...and insecure one . will they screw up his essence and make him a softie ? love does strange things ! we have a really superb love story on its way provided all conditions remaining constant . there are immense possibilities for this character to shape up !

You have written it very well ..he is one charming dude and waiting for his soulmate to complete him ..touche !

Coming to the actor who is portraying the character -KVB ...like all good actors he has brought his own style to ARI and is a pleasure to watch him live ARI ...his accent his swagger his frustrations on not finding the domestic help in time ...his mood swings ! lets hope the fire burns !

Awesome post! 👏
I agree to whatever you said.
He is a completely different character than most of the others we see in Indian T.V.
Also it is to early to club him as a weak character, the lead characters are supposed to be round, they evolve more & more in the upcoming episodes.

Yes, he is different from Gul's other heroes. This multilayered character has been shown as a lonely and vulnerable guy. Dilshad said it right, He is a coconut, all he needs is Sanam :)

Very well said Amber👏He is different than Gul's other heroes and he has many reasons for that. Our personality reflects our upbringing . Both Asad and ASR's family was different than Aahil's family😊. Aahil is good at heart and that we saw before😊. Har heere ko tarash ne ki zarurat hai, and our Sanam is there for that😛.
After a long time I am enjoying the show once again😊That is the most important thing to me.

Very very well written, clear , logical, well layered structured post, this one.
I've never found ARI a weak hero even for a moment, in fact I think he's as strong as Sanam , if not more, because you see , even in her worst day, Sanam still has loving shoulder to cry to , surrounded by people who love her unconditionally n TRULY ( key word ) , as you said , the situation is completely different for ARI.
Any other lesser strong person would've ended up in to a drug addict , or worst a criminal in the making , just like Tannu.
He, on the other hand, this golden heart , for him the smile of a poor boy is so important that lakhs of money can be spent on it.
I find Telly heros boring, very boring, in most Indian shows , even top trp ones, male leads are just pieces of furniture , n they're predictable to the point of pain.
But, Aahil, man , h's a gorgeous creation, such a multi layered beautifully written character , with such a majestic aura n charm about him. He's a Lady kiler, a responsible family man, a kind charitable person, a cool badass gamer , a lone wolf , a loving brother, a honest , loyal n caring friend..
Soon , he'll be an epic lover , along with his soul mate Sanam.
