She has always tried to follow Prem up with rebellious sons like Ansh or whoever, but nobody could really balance the fine line between grey and black like Prem did.

Prem, in fact, was initially characterized and conceived as the villain figure, but Karanvir made him look so adorable that Ekta had to change the infamous rape track and make Prem into the hero. Prem's troubled relationship with his parents, excluding things like chemistry with Mukti, was the highlight of KZK. You should rewatch that disco episode where Prerna hits Prem and there is this infamous scene between them where Prem is about hit his mother, also the scene when Prem's reservations against Prerna finally crumbles and he calls her mom for the first time. Not to forget the way Prem bonded with the sister he was born for, Sneha, Jennifer Singh Grover. Prem's character was one the most volatile and intriguing characters of Indian televsision and this is precisely why people still remember him to this day.

Ekta's talent for creating characters like that is unmatchable. No one else even comes close. Still hate the woman, but some of her characters were beautiful. Aahil, except for the trademark arrogance, is not half as complex as Prem was.

Couldn't agree more...he was Ekta's best creation so far...his character shaped into every possible manner...starting from bad rebelious son, not so good brother but a good friend (to Sharad, KSG), a prankster, to a madly in love boy, best brother to Sneha, and a good son also...I hated Ekta for not uniting Muki Prem..and I still do...KVB was brilliant as a mental patient after Mukti died...u could just cry for him...and yeah I remember that scene where he called Prerna "maa"...he had lost Mukti to Yug (atleast he thought so) and he was torn...b'ful scene. 😊

I agree. As Nikki mentioned somewhere before, his love for Mukti was so beautifully and carefully developed, just like his character. You could understand why he wanted to be a better man for Mukti, how his reason for living was Mukti, the way he could stay barely sane after Mukti died- was some brilliant acting. I loved him as Viraj too, such a contrast to his previous characters, be it the lovely Dhruv or the complicated Yudi. I hated and cursed Ekta for that, stopped watching every Ekta show after she pulled that stunt with Mukti. 😡😆

Ekta Maiyya. 😆 @everyone, thank you, I hope I got my point across. Prem, as a character is very close to my heart and nobody will really match up to that, I feel.

^^ I was like W** Ekta...u made such a lovely confession and a b'ful dream sequence just to break into pieces. 😡 Viraj Dobriyal, yet another powepack performance by KVB...the insanity he portrayed...u know my sister is a RangRasia fan but when she heard KVB is coming back on QH..she was like, 'now I've to quit RR.' 😃 😉

Gosh! You don't know how extremely happy I feel.when I. Come across any Yudi posts. No like seriously! Know, like the actual grinning idiot!! 😆
Yudi does that to me..still!!

Oh, I was crazily obsessed with him man! Like I was Viraj over him!☺️😆 Except the torturing part, well torture doesn't mean actual torture, u know what I mean?😉😆

You won't believe me and one friend of mine still imitate those Yudi-Basanti scenes😆 Gosh! Those days..to die for!!😳

He was one so beautifully executed character ever in Indian TV history. His accent, his swag, his voice, his style, his dialogues, his humor, his cuteness, his hotness, his adorableness, his arrogance, his rudeness, his irritation, his anger, his love!! 😭
God I am gonna cry now!!😭

I just can't get over thay guy..😭

Now Aahil has come, I am just like on cloud 9. I couldn't sleep that day when I got this news! 😆

When it comes to KVB I forget everything, he is my love!!☺️😆

I remember all the scenes of him wether it be with basanti or mother India. God I love his name giving thing 😆

Yes this character has some similarities with him, except that Aahil is one notch higher than Yudi.😆

I agree with you we have seen many playboy or angry young men characters which have done well according to the shows but honestly I haven't seen a character like yudi's till this date. Because KVB is playing the character he kind off gives the vibes off yudi and totally reminds me off him but yudi's character is so complex. I have to agree I honestly hate how ekta always ruins the drama and my favourite characters but she writes awesome characters and the shows start off really good. Because of this I always end up watching them and get my heart broken continuously LOL.
