Najma, Gafur, Asad and Zoya lie dead in SM while Tanveer sets fire to the house. Dilshad sees a police officer and asks him to help her as there is a crazy woman killing everyone at ehr home. The officer asks her to explain while Dilshad is explaining the cop gets a call from his superior. Dilshad asks him to come and help her but the cops says he has to go to a crime scene where the house is et on fire on MG road. Dilshad asks the address and the cop tells the address of SM and tells that everyone is dead. The cops leave Dilshad falls to the ground and cries. She hugs Sanam and Haya.
20 years later in Punjab.
It is Dilshads's home where the helpers are preparing the ingredients for the dhaba. A delivery man comes and puts the vegetables in th wrong place and Dilshad asks him to put it in the right place esle she wil tell her. The man gets scared and says give me to the cops but don't tell her. Another man brings 2 vegetables mixed in one tokri. Dilshad again mentions her. The man asks why is she like this? Why she has this habit? Dilshad says it is not habit but inheritance. The person they talk about is Sanam. She has a flash of Asad and Zoya scene where he finds the room untidy and complains. Dilshad looks at a picture of Asad, Zoya and Najma and talks to them about life without them and with their daughters.
At Dhaba Sanam Da
A customer is looking at someone then asks the server about that person. Sanam is introduced by the bouncer of her dhaba to a customer... She is shown to put everything in its place and then Sanam's face is finally revealed. She serves food to customers and says a sher totally in Zoya style. "Sanam da dhaba hai like 5 * Sanam da dhaba hai like 5 * Tera pyar pyar pyar hukka maar ." She is making a dish and finds something missing she says her takioya kalaam "Alla miya kya panga pe gaya." She then reveals a compilation of recipes written by her. She wishes to publish a cook book. The helper/bouncer of her dhaba comes and tells her that a customer has eaten but is not paying. She looks at the customer, he is a big man both get scared but decide to get the money as it is their haq ka. . There is a cute verbal scene of Sanam where she speaks and speaks. The bouncer lambu too give dhak dhamki to the customer. He tries to say something but the 2 do not listen to him. A small fire is ignited near the cook stove which Sanam tries putting out with her hands. Lambu the bounder ties bandages to her hands. He asks her why did she try to put it out with her hands as they got injured in the process. She says it is her and her badi ammi's hope. Her hands can get burnt but nothing should happen to the dhaba.
She gets back to work and Lambu asks her what is the difference between their dhaba dal makhni and other dhabas as the raw materials are the same. Sanma says that cooking is like romance it should be done with your heart else not be done at all. He says that your marriage is arranged she says love can happen after marriage. He says after marriage older child then younger then more little ones and says love does not happen after marriage. She disagrees to which he says love is very sneaky kab kahaan kisse ho jaaye koi nahi jaanta.
Ahil is introduced boxer clad lipstick marks all over sleeping in his car. A car passes by his car and a man gets off. He comes to Ahil and says GM Ahil bhai as Ahil wakes up.
Sanam tells Lmabu not to say such nonsense things as she is a good girl from a good family. Her badi ammi has chosen a guy for her and must have done so after thinking of her welfare. Dilshad calls and they have a conversation about some delivery. She has made Chinese food and praises a certain Pammi aunty and her cooking classes. While speaking with Dilshad she messes up and 'Allah Miya pe gaya naya panga.' She is looking for Mint Chutney. Dilshad asks why are you looking for mint chutney as the parcel is of Chinese cuisine. She says it is special mint chutney and what ever you eat with it becomes more tasty Dilshad is shocked; she finds the chutney and packs it.
Rehan tells Ahil that he has a meeting with American clients. Ahil gets out of his car and gargles with coke on the road. He then freshens up on the road and also gets dressed in his shirt and blazer. He also has a video conference with his clients on the road via his lappy about some land. Rehan wonders he cracked 10 crore land deal in 5 minutes. Ahil Raza Ibhrahim is a winner. Aahil tells him about going to Punjab as another party is also after the same land. Sanam is at someone wedding. The bride paraise her cooking skills and says Anwar miya is very lucky as he is getting married to Sanma. She goes down with soup and mint chutney for him.
The screen freezes on Sanam and Ahil.
Precap: Haya is walking in the middle of the road adn Ahil honks but she does not move. He dashes the car past her and she is slightly hurt. Sanam comes to Haya and curses the driver and his car.
