Do Dil Ek Jaan - an AsYa and AyRa ff

Introduction to the FF:-

Asad and Ayaan are step-brothers who live together with their father and mothers/step-mothers. There is no dispute between each other's families. Both the brothers are total opposites of each other. Ayaan is a fun-loving, care-free, prankster kind of a guy, while Asad is a strict, short-tempered and a no-nonsense guy. But the bond between the brothers is unbreakable. They have immense love for each other. Their life was going on smoothly, as they wished, till they find out that they have been engaged to the daughters of Gaffaur Khan Farooqui, Zoya and Humeira.

Zoya and Humeira are also step-sisters who together with their father and mothers/step-mothers. There is an occasional quarrel between the two mothers, but does not last long. There is a great bond between Zoya and Humeira. All through their childhood, they have been sharing everything between them, their happiness and sorrows, ups and downs of life. An ideal model for all sisters. But, their characters are miles apart. Zoya is basically a prankster, a fun-loving, crazy, romantic girl, bubbling with enthusiasm and always ready with a silly shayari for anything, while Humeira is a quiet and sensible girl, always lost in her fantasy world. They lead a quiet and smooth life, until their life takes an unexpected turn and they end up meeting Asad and Ayaan.

Plot:

AsYa and AyRa got engaged to each other when they were in their cradles. Both the families knew each other very well and wanted their families to come closer. They felt that their marriage will strengthen the bond between their familes. So, AsYa being the elder ones got engaged to each other and AyRa got engaged too.

When AsYa and AyRa meet, they hate each other. Every other day begins and ends with an argument. But as time passes by, they find themselves slowly getting attracted to each other.

WILL THEY EVER FALL IN LOVE? OR DOES DESTINY HAVE SOMETHING ELSE STORED FOR THEM?

Character Sketch:-

Asad Ahmed Khan - Karan Singh Grover:

A strict, no-nonsense and a short-tempered guy who is a workaholic. Doesn't know how to enjoy life. Takes anything and everything seriously. Physically strong but emotionally unstable. Hates childish pranks and behavior. Is afraid of love and relationships. Believes that love and lust doesn't last forever. Loves his brother Ayaan more than anyone and would do anything for him. Engaged to Zoya Farooqui. Gets irritated by Zoya at first and thinks she is an immature and stupid girl who only knows how to enjoy life, but as the story progresses, he finds himself getting strangely attracted to her. Becomes good friends with Humeira.

Zoya Farooqui - Surbhi Jyothi:

A fun-loving, crazy, romantic and stupid girl who is a prankster. Always ready with a silly Shayari for any situation. Her best friend is Allah Miya, the one whom she goes to when she happy or unhappy with something. Always hopes that her future husband tries to woo her like Salman Khan. Believes in true love. Loves her sister Humeira very much and cannot see her in tears. Engaged to Asad Ahmed Khan. Gets annoyed with Asad at the beginning and thinks that he is a grumpy person with no sense of humor who only knows how work, work and work, but as the story progresses, she finds herself falling for him. Becomes best friends with Ayaan.

Ayaan Ahmed Khan - Vikrant Massey:

A fun-loving, care-free, erratic and a stubborn guy who is always thinking of one or the other prank to play. Is never serious about love and thinks that love is just a sort of time-pass. Loves his brother Asad a lot and is very afraid of him too. Engaged to Humeira Farooqui. Thinks that Humeira is a boring, nerdy and traditional girl who is not right for him. After playing a series of prank to make her dislike him, Ayaan realizes his true feelings for Humeira. Becomes best friends with Zoya.

Humeira Farooqui - Ketki Kadam:

A quiet, sensible, nerdy and an impulsive girl who is always lost in her fantasy world. Believes in true love. Also believes that true love should find the way itself and one should not go looking for it. Very fond of her sister Zoya and adores her. Engaged to Ayaan Ahmed Khan. Thinks that Ayaan is a crazy guy who is insensitive to others feelings. After a series of fights and misunderstanding between the two, Humeira realizes Ayaan's importance in her life. Becomes good friends with Asad.
