My prayers are with you and your family.

Also, coming from family of physicians ( though I am not a doctor), I have understanding of medical conditions. It is very common in viral fevers to have high temps and depending on the type of viral, duration will be between 2 to 10 days. There is no specific medication except fever reducers and it will goaway on its own after its duration. Ensure kid is taking plenty of liquids and don't bundle him up, just put light clothes and along with fever reducer medicine, treat him with cold patches to reduce temps. Best of luck.

I totally understand as mom how worried you will be but he will get better soon and you should be strong for him while he is going throug viral bout.

PS: High temps until 106 degrees won't have adverse effects on body or brain, therefore , don't worry as far as it is within that threshold.

Prayers the little boy will get better soon. Couple of years back my daughter had a viral. The only symptom was high temperature ,several kids in US had it. After 2 -3 days it got better.give him fluids. Hope this helps
