Actually, while writing the last chapter, I imagined Amrapali for some reason. I think it has to do with the way she used to call her 'Zoya' - girly, somewhat cartoonish voice when she used to openly mock Zoya. I don't know about following chapters. I may switch again.


Take your time, play around, do as you please coz you're doing a heluvan awesome job.

I am not sure what is different about this story or your writing on this one, it is absolutely, effortlessly, flourishing in a very happy way. It is like holi, spring is here. And there is upbeat feel about it. It is a pleasure to read it, and yes the update felt like it was over, even before it began. And on second reading I realized it was not that short either, just that the pace is really good which, makes it feel go faster than we think. Enjoyed it all.

Thank you. The stories seem to be coinciding well with seasons. HW was set in winter. This one starts in spring and has springtime feeling. I like this coincidence. As I said before, I find Emma to be happiest of Austen's novels. Emma doesn't have any "real" problems. She creates her own problems (oh...sometimes self-created problems are lot more dangerous) and they also get solved and she learns a thing or two, but she always bounces back. We will enjoy spring and summer with Zoya/Emma. 😃

Akram continues with his fawning attitude , Conveniently friendly. And Zoe ka bulb, she does move fast 😈

Asad and Tanveer interaction with Sholay bonding 👍🏼 Subtle and yet the gentle nudge towards sticking to one's opinion. Tanveer and Zoe both needed that.

Tanveer and Zoe interaction, the nudging is not so subtle, total contrast with Asad's. Nicely done.

Zoya is like a steamroller. Only Asad tries to control her.😆

Finally Asad and Zoe in his apartment, I loved it. T.rex monster resurrected. 🤣
Reading and Zoe 😆, I like how Asad got that out of his way. Tiramisu bhi reh gaya. Besties indeed.

And finally Asad's concern and his conversation with Dilshad. I must say Zoe is getting better with each update. I am loving this Zoe. I think talking to Dilshad has made Asad realize that Zoe has other qualities than being a best friend, it is like he already knew that, it just got highlighted again, there is an awareness about it now. And I have always been biased towards Asad. However I find myself leaning towards Zoe for the first time ever. I can get used to this Zoe. Woh sach main bechari nahi hai. Kabhi bhi nahi thi. 😆

I am still biased towards Asad, so biased that I add him even when the chapter can be Asad-free. 😛 This observation of yours - Asad acknowledging the good in Zoya that he already knows - it made me realize one more flaw of Mr Knightley/Asad (He is the least flawed character here. Sensible man - that is how Austen introduces him) I wrote it more of it as how well Asad knows Zoya - the good and the bad and Dilshaad as the doting Phuphi who doesn't readily agree. But, now I think Mr Knightley/Asad sometimes gets carried away in fault finding, because he knows that he is the only one who points out Zoya's faults. He takes her goodness for granted and highlights her faults - not consciously, but he seems to be doing it.

This update felt like a date with movies, 3 movie references. 😛

Oh..that just happened. But..yh...I am making too many movie and food references here.😲

And the update is truly holi wala update 😃
