From KSG's POV
The show has given him popularity, though he already had much. Still he got more recognition for his acting skills. He got more awards. And he has appreciated that. He has appeared to be a sweet and moody guy & has proved to be very very professional from the start of the show till July. He has appeared to have good rapport with his co-stars, Gul, Gorky Max and others on sets. He has praised & made fun of PH many times too, and we take that as his funny self. Off late he has been almost absent from the show & his hair has not been suiting his character at all. Of course he plays an awesome and perhaps unmatched role as Asad & he knows how popular AsYa are. He already knew the story of Qubool hai(take ZoYaan) before signing for the show. He knows the story still has great potential. Still he is taking this step, knowing very well what the reactions will be, WHY?
PH/Gul/Channel POV
They know how popular KSG actually is & they know he plays excellent role as Asad. They know how much people love KaBhi as AsYa. Gul has been a friend of KSG, so is her husband. They pay KSG an extra amount & that's a really big amount so that he stays. They have seen how much people detested the ZoYaan track & how much people are complaining about the lack of screen-space given to AsYa & Asad. They know Asad Ahmed Khan is the male lead of the show. They have faced the results of replacement of male lead before. Still they are taking this step, knowing very well what the reactions they will receive! WHY?
So definitely there is a lot much going on than our eyes can see. This blame-game going on in the forum is quite absurd & pointless.
Those who are giving instances of his professionalism, don't forget that human nature changes with his mind & interest. If QH doesn't hold KSG's interest anymore, why would he try to be professional? Accept it or not, his hair is not acceptable in Asad's role & he still refuses to cut it knowing very well that it doesn't suit Asad. His frequent vacationing/leave isn't justified.
Somebody was at fault first, either him or PH/Chhannel...and that was a small fault on his/their side...and eventually it has come upto this, now that he is quitting/getting replaced.
Viwers' POV
Karan was, is & always be the first person who will come to our mind once you mention AsYa. It's gonna be very hard to accept some jodi other than KaBhi as AsYa, but as Zoya said once
People come & people go. It's a part of life. Life mein insaan roz kitnay logon sey milta hai. Saab kay baray mein sonchey lagay na toh ho gaya kaam
I know it doesn't fit here well, but as they say, the show must go on. Whatever Qubool hai is today, every member of the team has a hand in it, and you can't punish them for only one actor. Karan will always be cherished, remembered & missed as our real Asad Ahmed Khan. I still wish the channel & Karan sort out the issues b/w them & everything gets back to normal. If not, all the best to Karan for his future, and all the best to the PH for their future.
For KSGians:
Don't be upset. Karan might be quite moody, but he isn't stupid. If he is already quitting, leaving out such a huge salary he gets, and is contemplating on sitting home instead of working now instead, then he definitely must be having some show/project up his sleeve. You may get to see him onscreen soon. InshahAllah!
For me:
I hate myself for letting a show get on my nerves like this. This is it. Qubool hai is the first & last Indian telly show m gonna watch and I wish all the best to it.😳
