Asad saw Zoya drown right in front of his eyes ,he was hanging from the rails of the deck of the drowning boat. He was holding onto the rails with his right hand.The boat had partly overturned and was sinking fast. He could'nt believe what he had seen just a few seconds ago,panic froze him in his spot. He had gone through this pain before when Zoya had been buried alive by the locals in Mangalpur but this time he felt it was unbearable for him.He felt numb.The very thought of losing her drove him crazy. He could'nt think straight. He did'nt want to live without her. He just could'nt.Within seconds he came back to his senses. He let go of the rails and dived into the cold dark water. He would either bring her back alive or drown with her.

"Till death do us part" crossed his mind as he took in a deep breath before hitting the surface of water. The night was dark and in spite of the full moon it was really difficult to see anything, even more so under water. Asad searched under water till his lungs burned with lack of air. He searched in all directions from the point he had seen Zoya drown. Even when after ten minutes of intense search he could not find her, panic gripped him harder. Tears started streaming through his eyes but like a mad man he kept muttering "Ill find you darling ,i'll find you". He took a deep breath and went underwater again. He went deeper and deeper in water looking for any sign of her. His muscles ached but he didn't feel anything. Thoughts of Zoya plagued him. How innocent she had looked sleeping in her room the night before. How excited she had been about this date.

He came out of the water once more , breathing hard. His eyes were red with his efforts to see underwater and partly because of the tears that kept welling up in his eyes involuntarily. "Zoya" he shouted at the top of his voice. He waited for a response, a faint flutter but nothing happened . "Zoya" he shouted again but this time his voice cracked .He felt helpless and just when he had given up all hope he noticed something...
