Great post...TFS

👏
Why did I now know this before that we are more or less on the same page, here...
We are only talking bakwaas on that thread, iss liye this is all new to me now 😆
I agree... Dilshaad decision can not be totally wrong or totally good. At this stage, she feels a different shade of love which can not be explained in words.

I will respond to everyone's post when I have a breather, :). Thanks everyone for the comments, I see some interesting one dimensional discussion here '-). I say one dimensional because all of us agree that we understand where Dilshad is coming from yet can't give a nod to what she does, all of us hate Rashid for this new desire of his, and all of us feel Asad's pain. Tough choices... Life is a bitch, right.

We are all lamenting with what Dilshad is going to do and we are questioning her reasons and bashing her. I for one never wanted her to go back to Rashid. A man who has abandoned her once will surely abandon her again and this time when the wolves (Razia, Shireen and yes Haseena bi) will try and rip her to shreds-metaphorically. There is no guarantee that he will stand up for her.
But what is going n in Dilshad's mind? Why is she ready to get back with him? Answer: this is a woman who has lived without a man for over 17 years. She has struggled through her life and bring up her kids alone, done menial work and came out on the other side. But who was there to give her a comforting word, a hug and a promise to make things better? No one. She is now at a junction where she has married off her daughter and her son soon to follow, we hope 😆. So what is left for her? She is after security and stability which she believes blindly that Rashid can give her. A belief which I fear will be shattered in due course. I am reminded of the words of one of my favourite songs recorded by the Bee Gees and then by Destiny's Child,
"don't you know there's nobody left in this world tohold me tight
nobody left in this world to kiss goodnight
Goodnight, goodnight."

Loneliness is the saddest thing of all. I just wish that Dilshad had found someone else.

That is quite a profound situation you have found with your friend. I hope she makes peace with her demons soon.

I guess I am among a very few who will actually support Dilshad in her decision( I am entirely keeping aside the fact that none of the women is QH has self respect because if any of them had one ounce men wouldn't have the guts to walk all over them...be it Rashid, Asad or Ayaan). The only reason I will support her would be because both her children are grownup adults. I refrain to think that a woman lose her identity or desires once a mother...Yes, a mother should never abandon her children but here I don't see Dilshad abandoning Asad or Najma? Dilshad knows very well that Asad is now settled with Zoya and Najma with Imran.
This is just my perspective strictly from Dilshad's point of view because honestly it's extremely upsetting to see Rashid not making an attempt to appease Asad. But , I do have reservations about her staying in SM.

Love has its reasons of which reasons know nothing about !
Dilshad did everything possible for Asad and Najma, gave them an excellent upbringing which one can't go unnoticed. She did not remarry or look for another guy. She found happiness in her kids happiness .At the twilight of her life an unexpected opportunity has been presented, Rashid is her true and only love. She feels that subah ka bhoola shaam ko laut kar aaya hai so shouldn't be called bhoola. Albeit after 6205 shaams. So when her kids are grown up and they don't need her 24/7, have themselves found true love...is it the right time for her to be selfish ? What if she lets go of this opportunity and will have regrets for the rest of her life.

That being said her supposed stay at SM will be a very brief stay. It will and can't last long. It will be absurd at so many levels.
so I guess. .. her meteor shower wish is coming into play...will be broken twice and will be shattered.let her make new mistakes and learn from them

I suppose I am of the few too, in a way. I wanted Dilshad to find her own happiness. I just didn't want it to be Rashid the selfish.

exactly, she has gone through a lot and she deserves to be happy and it's always been Rashid for her...so be it.

But I want Rashid to feel the pain of losing his 'loved one.' I find it puke worthy that a heart attack brings him to decide that he wants Dilshad. She should stick two fingers up to him and find someone else.

In the end, I dont want to blame or bash Dilshad, because I really understand where she is coming from. In the end, I will only bash creatives for not executing a scene well and shrugging a lot of important aspects under the carpet. It is too soon to say so I reserve my comments till then, but it is not what Dilshad choses, but how she makes Asad feel by it, that matters. The way Rashid barges in on to KV, and finishes her sentence, is very insensitive. If Asad has reservations, and Dilshaad decides to just ignore them, and move... that is very insensitive. This TRACK has a lot of potential if EXECUTED well. Key word here? IF! Cvs have a track record for blowing up potentially good tracks, so lets wait and watch.
All in all, if things were real - Dilshad has a right to happiness and her judgement to tell write from wrong is clouded by emotions right now, but she should not be insensitive to what her kids, specially Asad has gone through. If CVS can balance the three - that will be awesome. Otherwise, I am sorry I will be one of the frequent track/Dilshaad bashers too :)
