Things may never be the same in QH again . Last night's episode was the game changer ! In fact the change was initiated the previous day itself when he tackled Tanveer so astutely and settled the Imran /Nazma issue swiftly and tactfully .
I may be wrong of course but suddenly it appears that Asad is the main protagonist . The baton has passed from Zoya to him . The stint in SM has made Zoya a bit more submissive and accepting of traditions . She does not seem to be in a hurry to get back into her jeans and her running shoes as we see from the precaps . Her meeting with Phoopi had none of the fizz of the earlier Zoya ..she was sublime and mature .. grateful to be back where she belonged .
Asad on the other hand was in charge now ...very assertive . He has left behind the 'woh actually ' phase and is in total commend . Asad ka sabr haad paar kar chuka hai and he will now hold the reins . As he says he is a man in a hurry ..we wait to see him overcome all the odds one by one . He has declared war on the the clergy , Gaffur ( most vehemently ) Rashid , Shireen ( aisa kuchh bhi nahi hoga )...ensuring that he can and will deal with Haseena Bi as well .
With all the new found confidence to deal with personal angst unlike the earlier Asad who had built emotional barriers around himself like a shield , Asad will liberate himself from his OCD complex . He comes back to us with a new image ...a laid back , romantic visage ...the pony tail and all ! It suits him perfectly .
But with all the new found aggression to deal with the extended family at SM he yet preserves the respect due to elders . That was evident in the way he allowed Badi Bi to ask Zoya her wish ( though she could have done it before the signing of the nikahnama )
This man Asad is surely moving up the charts with a strong signature of his own ...in close race with Armaan the lovable medico ! It is going to be close race to the finish ...esp if the tempo continues as at present !
