I'm one of those people who hates lose ends and, even more, red herrings, i.e. clues that mean nothing and are only there to distract the reader. It's just lazy writing to drop story threads or change the character's behavior to match the situation. I try to avoid that whenever possible.

Asad Ahmed Khan is in trouble!! 😆 He can run but he can't hide. Ms. Musibat is now his Musibat!! He is so enamored of Zoya and is fighting a losing battle!! You have gradually shown his feelings in the last 2 FFs. Its picking up some speed in this one!!

As I said in our last post exchange, this is the story that breaks apart Asad's preconceived notions of who he will love. He's already there but just doesn't acknowledge it. He will - in a couple of chapters!

What's a day in Asad and Zoya's life, without a trip - catch and stare session?! Yup, Asad has frequent practice of catching Zoya and then getting lost in her eyes!! Rohan better watch out and stay away from Zoya!! But alas, how will we get our thriller then.

Rohan already tried to probe the Zoya and Asad's relationship and Asad nearly choked him for it. Rohan is smart enough not to poke the beast again.

Zoya's outburst regarding the orphanage and orphans was very poignant! Her pain came through loud and clear. At least she had her Appi and Jeeju, Rohan appears to have none. Asad continues to hurt her unintentionally and then regrets it when he sees her in pain.

Actually, that scene wasn't even supposed to be in the story. It just came out of Zoya's mouth as I was writing. But it's true to her character so I let her say what she wanted to. She's still an orphan at heart and deeply admires people who care for lost souls, i.e. her Appi and Jeeju, Dilshad and Rohan. Naturally she'd defend them from criticism.

OK. What is this guy Rohan up to?? My brain is working overtime trying to figure him out!!

Let your brain rest - I shall reveal all. And I PROMISE it will be logical and fit into the storyline.

Hint: I keep stressing the TIMING (after Dilshad's shooting and before Tanveer enters) for a reason.

On surface, he appears to be a nice and down-to-earth person, who has endured a lot in life by being an orphan. Then his antics make me wonder if it's two different people or if he is under some duress and is being blackmailed or is negative and a great actor. Waiting eagerly to see how it unfolds.

The 1st part of the breakfast scene was cute and touching at the same time. His explanation of how Zoya served customized pancakes as she loved the Khans was very perceptive. Ouch! That last statement hit home! Glad Dilshad was able to deflect it.

Dilshad wasn't able to deflect it. It hit home and it hit hard. That's why Asad hid behind the newspaper for the rest of their meal. He usually puts the paper down when he's eating. He's too neat not to. Dilshad was able to soothe the pain for Asad and reassure Zoya but the arrow definitely pierced. Asad is going to think hard about his actions, especially since he's also managed to upset Zoya twice in the same morning. 😭

The XXX ad piece was interesting. Was that just to get Asad angry or will it tie into a bigger pix? I'll have to wait and watch! Asad did end up hurting Zoya again. Oh boy, is this man gonna pay big time!

It's a very important plot point and the over-all theme of the story.

Now coming to the part that interests me the most: the mystery element (psst... I am loving the romance and awareness tension between AsYa too)!!

You caught that! 👏 The attraction was always there but the awareness was missing. Asad will become aware in this story. Zoya still needs more time.

So, our Nancy Drew Zoya figured out that Rohan took her iPad and is also searching the house. Glad you explained about why the iPad was unlocked!! BTW, iPad does display browsing history.

My Zoya is a hacker and security specialist. Not only is her tablet set to clear browser history on logout, it's also sensitive to traces. That's why she had to go to her private website to probe her own tablet.

So, I guessed right about the water excuse.😃 Hmm, I ask again. What in the world is this guy up to? He is obviously searching for something. He researched about Zoya and Asad and the K7 incident. Does this tie back to Web of Lies? Is he linked to one of the antagonists, possibly Surita? Her boyfriend was mentioned briefly. But that doesn't make logical sense if he really is Rohan the star! I'll just have to be patient and wait for the updates to see how you unravel this. There's got to be more than meets the eye!!

No, Rohan has nothing to do with Surita. He is most definitely Rohan Saxena, bad-boy Cricketer. ⭐️ You'll see how popular he truly is in the next chapter.

Towels: how did he spend the evening and night without a towel? That's a clue. The bed seemed untouched too. Was the frill fan that Najma made intact? Where did he spend the night then? Is that why Zoya is smelling the pillows to confirm the sheets are still fresh?

Who caught her? Asad or Rohan? My guess would be Asad!! More impact and another opportunity for the GEM to strike!! He is gonna think she has a crush on Rohan

The GEM is already struck Asad and it's a fatal blow. Poor Asad. His jealousy is making him push Zoya away just as he's realizing how much he wants to bring her closer. Why does he do that? 😕

He'd better learn soon. Zoya has less and less patience for his antics each day. He'll lose her if he doesn't start to curb himself- and very soon. Say...in a couple of chapters? 😃

Rohan has much bigger problems to deal with than Asad. He just doesn't know it yet. Zoya's on the case. His secrets won't be secret for much longer!
