So true! If there's one problem with the track than that's its execution. The characters are however behaving very much in the human domain and acting and reacting like everyone else may do.
When Zoya was throwing tantrums, it was her way of expressing how frustrated she is with all this and when Asad cut the call it was his expression of the same. One person cannot be blamed for everything that's happening. Everyone has been making mistakes right from the start. In yesterday's epi, Zoya acted on impulses without giving a thought that if she didn't consent to it they were all powerless to cause any damage. Ayaan could have said he's not comfortable with anything invading his privacy keeping the scenario and Humeira in mind. And Asad could have talked to Zoya explaining him that her doubts were baseless. But none did what they were suppose to so why blame just one person?
In addition I'll copy my post from another thread that was revolving on the same lines...
Saying Asad was the only one at fault is definitely not right. They all played their parts in the whole fiasco. Ayaan was equally responsible in cracking the deal. Infact, though I have been mad at Asad for handing over Zoya in that fashion, I have been more angry at Ayaan for even asking something so ridiculous. Didn't he remember what he went through when Humeira forgot her identity and pseudo Vikram made his entry. He hadn't even realized his feelings then and he went all berserk and here knowing well what Zoya meant to Asad... that it was their wedding day, he came by the window to demand Zoya! He blackmailed Asad with the Sautela card yet again... begging him to save Nikhat... even as a brother... boy, weren't you capable of getting through your own sister yourself without putting everyone's life at stake?
Trivial or major, everyone has made their share of mistake in complicating the matter. It won't be just to blame one and let the other walk scot-free. Zoya made a mistake of yet again leaving the house on the Nikah day when Asad had clearly asked her not to. It was about Najma... Asad would have supported her, accompanied her and would have been in better position to stop Najma's nikah in time and also avoid all that happened. I agree she's selfless and put herself on stake for the sake of Najma... but that doesn't change the fact that it was a foolish move to venture out then. But then again. her mistake was not as big to be pushed into this, it was too cruel. But however trivial, Zoya had her own role in this.
And Asad's fault was he got sucked into the emotional spin created by Ayaan and Shireen. He had a hold over Zoya like none other and he used it consciously or unconsciously. When he realized how grave it was turning, he should have intervened but he stood mutely watching the whole drama unfold that ripped him and ripped Zoya. He was an idiot to allow it and fall for it.
So in my opinion, none is actually flawless. They all have their flaws.
