I too saw the epi again.
zoya wanted to leave asad outside but he abruptly left hurt.
zoya didnt realize it then
she came running to give the phone asad was waiting with arms outstretched
zoya didnt realize it then also
then she saw him n realized how hurt he was.
loved the split second expression by surbhi before she pulled him for the hug. Priceless expression.

Soup take a bow.
I would defintely like to see the script that asya get n match it with ur posts.

I saw the episode again (on TV) to make sure I wasn't missing something that others saw. To me it seems like a typical Mars vs Venus scenario. If you look at things from Zoya's POV (BTW, pay attention to SJ's expressions in every scene because they say more than her words), then to me it's still clear that she was disappointed that he didn't take her home. Initially when Dadi stopped him and he made Ayaan the excuse for stopping by, Zoya was pissed. In reality, she wanted him to say the truth but he didn't. That's why that journey to Ayaan's room was so tedious because she was still upset with him. Later, she sat across from him because they were not on the 'same page' Then like a typical woman, she gave him mixed signals- why she couldn't come outside and then she asked him to make the decision for her (this is where she went wrong) She expected him to say 'chalo ghar chalte hain' Instead he asked her to stay back. That's when we saw the hurt expressions on her face (BTW, excellent emoting by SJ in that scene)- she told him that Ayaan has enough people at home and how long would she need to stay? Asad, like a typical man, did not catch on that clue that she really wanted to leave.

Also, Asad's perception was clouded by the slight resentment he was feeling (the photo etc) Then when Ayaan coughed and Zoya attended to him, Asad couldn't take it anymore. He left. Zoya was heartbroken to see him leave. She watched him leave even though she was holding Ayaan's hand.

Then of course she ran to return his phone and then the hug. Even after the hug when he replied he would be back, Zoya's face fell as she was hoping that he would just take her home at that point

It's the same situation like before their confession. They give mixed signals and get disappointed when the other party doesn't 'understand' them. I feel the hug will be a BIG factor going forward. This might give Asad the necessary impetus to take action and not wait passively.

Zoya ne bhi toh thik se nahi kaha ki mujhe jana hai apke saath ek baar daadi ek baar ayaan wala excuse deti rahi 😆 Guys dont realize what the main issue is until and unless you explain them in clear words 😆

Asad thought ki woh nahi jaa sakti cause of family and he didnt want to sound rude 😆 and selfish 😆

On the other hand he felt jelly cause according to him she was not leaving. 😆 Ayaan coughing made him feel more jelly that yea sab payre log abb mujh se zyada imp hogaye? 😆

If she had accompanied him to the car maybe his tears made her go weak and he would have told her ki chalo.

And yea kaunsi mardangi hai ki ghar ke females ke samne se ladki ko utha ke leke jaye? 🤣

Lion King ne Mogambo ke samne Sherni ko chor ke gaya hai, toh Mogambo ke samne hi bhaga ke lekar jayega naa? 🤣
