I was just disappointed as a fan today. IMO, they have really made the male protagonist very weak. No story can succeed if either the male or female protagonist is weak. No one wants to see a man shying away from his responsibilities. I respected the Asad who was ready to marry Tanveer when he thought he was the father.

In this recent scenario, he has made a big sacrifice for his sister. That means her happiness and her nikaah is really important for him. If that's the case, shouldn't he sacrifice a little pain and make sure she gets married without a hitch? Out of all people, he is the only one who can stand up to haseena's demands, so shouldn't he take that as his responsibility to be there? This would also ensure that once Nikhat is married off, he can take Zoya home with him.

If he thinks, his presence hurts Zoya or vice versa, he can stay in the background- not meet her but make sure she is safe especially after Tanveer's threats

For me, Asad is a character who has always prioritized responsibility over emotions. That's why I felt the writers did injustice to his character today. It made him look weak, not strong

Overall, I am still positive- just don't like to see the protagonist's characters be butchered.

I agree .. But sometimes we need ask why . At some point Asad indicated that .. he did not realized his decision would take such a negative turn. His hands are completely tied right now . A simple case of a deal that went wrong . Asad is holding back .. His body movement says all . He can't risk a slip right now ..because the results would be disastrous and will have to loose everything to save Zoya .. Who is his weak point right now . Eventually he will have to break some relations in this fiasco ..but he will eventually save Zoya's dignity. None will be able to separate these two hearts . When a man loves a woman ..he gives up everything to keep what is his .. Reason why the lion no longer roars. . But when he does again it will be a spectacular site for all.

I still didn't get to watch no YT videos:(, but still cannot reprimand that Asad is so weak, he saw Zoya in pain doing all rituals and their yearn for each other and decided to avoid it and not go to nikaah ceremony, knowing Tanveer is close very close. Also does he ever think of Humaira who is living and breathing each similar moment in pain and longing..

ya di ,fingers crossed .but i am not understanding the purpose of this crap, for asya separation Gaffor was the best option, now people are not accepting zoyan and not even enjoying Asya.But your ajmer parallel is working point to point.
