Real life mein...I could never fall for a guy like Asad despite the fact that beneath all that jerk kind of a facade is a flawless heart..at least not by first impressions...

Self respect is very important..it plays the same role what physical pain plays for the human body...when we feel pain we know we are hurt, that's why pain is important...similarly, if you feel respect for yourself, only then you know that it's hurt or abused...once you cross that line of ignoring self preservation as a concept, anyone can take advantage of you...

To fall in love with a man like Asad, u need to have your own set of insecurities and abandonment issues which get pacified by his presence...something like finding solace in sorrow...I am not saying anything about ASR because as a character, I did not find any depth in him

But yes all said and done...love is blind...and I personally want a guy who can dominate me because I have taken charge of things in my life being the eldest..been an almost parent to my youngest siblings who are as much as 15 years junior to me...I have taken decisions for myself at a very young age..career included..so now I want someone to whom I can pass on the reins...

You cannot fall for a Suraj unless you are ok with a Mama's boy..

I think both ASR and AAK are really good to look at and have plenty of attitude and swagger!! The guys are self made and successful, do not suffer fools gladly. But generally have a judgemental attitude to certain types of people because of their upbringing or issues from their past. Case in point ASR and people who were not from his class, Asad and people who are too modern and outgoing.

Both guys are damaged as in they have abandonment issues and daddy issues. Loving siblings too much and an elevated sense of responsibility towards them is a failing. They actually carry it to a self destructive level!!

Bleeding hearts underneath the tough exterior is what ASR and AAK have in common. Someone who sees THAT heart, the one they are trying to conceal from the world, the one with all their insecurities and vulnerabilities can and WILL fall for them!!

But you are right, we get THIS insight coz we see them in their unguarded moments. IF I didn't see that, then NO I could never fall for such men. But I won't blame a women who inadvertently gets drawn in by such a man. I don't believe in "reforming and loving" someone. So I would never marry a man I think I have to reform.

P. S: Personally I married a guy who loves and respects me and we have a very happy relationship. But I DO understand the attraction of guys like ASR and AAK. But you have to be VERY strong to withstand their issues and still love them. Coz guys like that are difficult to deal with. Even after they fall in love with you!!
