Aww no it's just a step in that direction. He knows he made a big mistake. But he never thought it would turn out like this. He thought she'd been mad and hurt for sure, and he was trying to start making it up to her. How, I don't think even knows. But he wanted her to have a warm welcome, after living in that hell for 3 months, where no one let be herself, or let her feel warm and loved.

But I know what you mean. This is just not enough. At all.
