And oh just to set the record straight, more than forcing, Asad emotionally blackmailed her and begged her to trust their love. And I dont get why Zoya is playing the blame game here when half the mess is created by her and whatever was decided was right in front of her eyes. She could have said a straight up no in front of everyone but she chose not to. She wasnt the only one getting emotionally manipulated. So playing victim and putting entire blame.on others is bull crap.

Also all four of them think that the Nikah though accidental is valid but temporary and will be annulled at a later date.

Had she trusted his love when it needed to be trusted (read: Let's be Nancy Drew on my wedding day), this whole situation could have been avoided.

She got into the mess. She left the house in spite of her promises. And may I mention that she still hasn't told anyone about the NajRan situation?

Asad has been a douche. He gave something (thing since the people here are so hellbent on taking that route) which wasn't even his. But she is no better. The mess they are in... it's not all about her. And as of now, watching Zoya, it certainly seems like it is.

She had New York. She had her Aapi and Jeeju. No one would have tied her up by chains had she decided to leave. She did it for Asad, and her weakness is no one's fault but her own.

We blame Asad for falling for Ayaan's emotional manipulations. Zoya did the same. She fell for Asad's. They are both fools.

The beauty of this situation is that everybody contributed to this Biryaani !
Humeira is the only innocent party.
On a troll note
I have a feeling that Asad was hoping that Zoya will runaway before signing the Nikahnama based on her past . Alas, he was in for a rude awakening !

Word. People here talk about Zoyas blind trust in Mr. Khan. I wonder what trust they talk about. She didnt even trust him enough to.let him know where shes going on her wedding day. People are forgetting that this mess is created by her. Sure she doesnt deserve this big.punishment but life is unfair. Did Asad deserve the punishment he went through for trusting his friends? But he still went through hell.

In my opinion, everyones at fault. But clealry to gain sympathy for Zoya every other character is getting blamed except for the one who created the mess.

Thanks for everyone's pov and I will try to reply everyone personally soon maybe not today because it's Friday night and I am busy with family and friends...

But I would like to mention one of the facts that has been lingering for a while...it's trading/slavery...it's a word which is looked upon shamefully in American history...as somebody who has numerous African American friends I hate to use this word, but I am afraid it is exactly what has happened in Qubool Hai...

Gul khan very specifically used the words Mohra( Pawn)...through Zoya confirming that indeed she was used as a commodity...a specific material is pawned while trading and here Zoya was pawned...in the eyes of law it falls in the category of slavery/ as in human trading...the message is Zoya was forced into it ...physically dragged by a man after she ran out. Please set aside the very lovable Asad khan out of the picture and visualize a man doing that to a woman? What would be your opinion then?

Also, people who know me are aware that I am not a person who randomly likes to make posts without any valid evidence...I have filed a complaint to the BCCC with a valid reasoning after discussing it with my friend who specializes on Human rights.

Ps: Slave/human trade is a word which has gone down as a shameful past in our history...believe me working in Human Rights I don't take pleasure in using that.

But, above all I am disgusted and angry at Zoya for giving the power to these men at the first place.

Also, Zoya wants to get out of SM...but nowhere has she mentioned today that she wants to go back to Asad...yes, the first night she did mention about calling Asad to take her back but once Ayaan mentioned that Asad did agree about her staying in SM...she has not once stated that she necessarily wants to oh back to the Khan house...maybe she wants to go back to NYC?

Good luck with your obsession with slavery and trading. I wish you all the best. You obviously are misguided and misinformed.
I live in America too, so pl do not preach about slavery .

Again my view, no bashing intended .

Slaves are kept in captivity, held against their will and deprived the right to leave.
Zoya willingly left khan mansion on her wedding day , got married accidentally and is just being asked very emotionally and with reassurance from Asad and Ayaan that please play along , for the sake of our sister.
The flesh trading industry is very gruesome... You cannot even use these two situation in the same sentence. The difference is very stark !

And that's my biggest issue with all three of them:

Ayaan had no right to ask.

Asad had no right to give.

and Zoya should have just walked out and flown back all the way to NY.

@Pri - Asad had no business calling her because:

1. It IS advocating infidelity. People seem to forget that marriage at the end of the day, legally, is a piece of paper. That is what confirms to society that you are indeed married. Your beliefs and feelings don't come into play. If it did I guarantee half the men and women in our society would not be "married".

2.What purpose did it serve for him to call her? From Zoya's POV he has betrayed her trust - as she pointed out in her internal monologue what exactly did he hope to achieve by calling her?

At this point Zoya needs a new man and Asad and Ayaan need new hobbies.

My issue is that the Nikaah is invalid. If the matrimony was legal and valid, only then would it advocate infidelity. Correct me if I am wrong, but people have pointed out that Zoya's name wasn't even correct on the nikaahnama. Obviously, the marriage has no religious or legal bases then. It is a sham that needs to be executed for the sake of another person.

Were ZoYaan actually married and Ayaan didn't consider Zoya his bhabhi, the situation would have been significantly different.
