Question on divorce papers

If Ayaan and Zoya don't know they signed the divorce papers, and Razia and Mamujaan know the error of 3 months, why would they file the papers in court and ultimately make the divorce legal only after 3 months instead of rectifying same as soon as the wedding takes place?

this show is sooo confusing! i havnt been watching it since ayaan n zoya wedding, did they really sign the divorce papers??

In today's episode, Mamujaan said that along with the marriage certificate, he inserted the divorce papers and both Ayaan and Zoya signed on them...

So unless filed, why do they need to stay together for 3 months?

they cant file the divorce papers until the date signed on the papers has come or past ... it's like a check, you cant take the check to the bank to deposit until the date signed on the check comes or passes. Hope that makes sense :P
