We all have to see it first if we want to believe it. Ayaan can promise lots of things, but karke dikhaiye. Well what if that really happens? Just look at it from this point: Zoya and Ayaan's friendship has not developed itself yet. Perhaps that will happen during this track while Zoya is in the SM. It would be nice to see if the CV's really plan to do so. As a chota bhai, as a devar but mostly as a friend, he will indeed fix this whole mess and bring Zoya back to where she belongs to: Mr. Khan. It will give his character a huge positive boost and will make him into a more mature, responsible and sensible person.

Another way of looking at it is this: Asad's promise to Zoya. I will never ever let you go and will always stand by your side. The oldest lovers promise. If the CV's want to show this track in favor of Asad, then yes he will be eventually the one who will save Zoya.

Why will she be okay with Ayaan? Because he saved her and fulfilled his promise. Zoya is more hurt by Asad than by Ayaan (obviously, the one you love the most, hurts you the most) that's why forgiving Asad would not be easy for Zoya. That is where the track begins all over again...Asad trying to win back her dil and to bring her back to KM.
