I'm kind of disappointed, not in Zoyaan, which I guess was bound to happen sooner or later, but in the way the whole thing played out. I was expecting a well-thought out and beautiful track with a lot of significance, and although I was never a fan of 'Zoyaan' and always wished that it wouldn't happen, I was pretty sure that even if it did happen, it would be with the usual finesse, like the whole Tanveer track previously shown.
I'm disappointed because I feel like QH has lost a lot of the things I liked about it, like the freshness, and interesting twists and unexpected occurrences and a beautiful display of indian-muslim culture. I never expected the show to be religiously accurate, but I honestly found the marriage track to be kind of sloppy. Its like they're trying to force this track and not let it naturally happen.
I'm kind of disappointed at how 'try-hard' this track seems, where I was expecting it to be a lot smoother I guess, the way we heard about since the beginning of the show.
I've honestly lost interest in the show right now, and its not because I'm strictly an Asya fan. I just find this story-line sloppy.
I simply wih they'd done it better, this is actually one of the more interesting tracks in the how and played right, could have been great.
Lastly, omg why is there so much Asad blame? D:
