Ok Rivs brace urself. Don't worry I'll ask decent questions 😊: (in the beginnning at least 😆)
1) What do u like the most abt Hyderabad?
The fact that this city can actually boast of being secular. I also love the architecture of the old city/ charminar area.2) One funny childhood incident that u can share with usOnce when we had been to our native place for the annual summer vacation, I was apparently sleep talking early one morning and my uncle (tauji) had just arrived and was sitting on the cot where I was sleeping. Now, I must have been dreaming of some feast or something because I listed out a number of food items like shrikhand, poori, basundi, etc. When I woke up in sometime, my uncle started asking me about what I was dreaming, which I could not remember. So he asked my mom and aunts to make everything I was dreaming about and kept reminding me of my sleep talking. It was kinda funny and embarrassing. I think I must have been 10 or so.3) Getting wet in the rain or watching the rain fm ur window?Both...as a child I loved to get wet and now I enjoy watching it from my balcony4) Describe urself in one lineI am nerd who loves to read, write and increase my knowledge,I have very little filtration when it comes to what I say and think, and I am extremely stubborn and a control freak.😃5) What kind of cuisine do u like?I love to experiment. I love Italian, mexican, thai, chinese (indianized), continental and ofcourse desi.6) Have u ever played a prank on someone? If yes describe it?This is a good one -I had moved to US in 2000 and was staying in the university dormitory. This was the same year when Kaho Na Pyaar Hai had released and I had fallen in love with HR (again). One of my friends had found a photograph print of HR's poster (like on a kodak paper) and gave it to me as a parting gift. Once I was unpacked, this picture (3*5 size) promptly found a spot on the wall behind the writing desk.My Gori roomate had moved in a couple days after me and once she was settled in, we started chit chatting, getting to know each other. I had noticed that she had been eyeing the HR pic a few times before and that afternoon she finally asked me who he was.I told her he was the guy I was going to marry with a very straight face (remember I was a freshman, very very young). So she promptly checks my ring finger and I am no, we are not yet engaged. But will be when I go back to India next. She just commented on how handsome he was and left the topic aloneA couple days later, she again asked me about him. She asked me about the age difference between the two of us and I said that yeah we were 8 years apart. So the next question was, are you being forced? Like did your parents arrange the match? Now at this point it was becoming difficult to keep a straight face, so I smiled and asked her if she thought I would have to be forced to marry a guy that looked like that. Again the topic was put to rest till the weekend. Now she came to me worried about what if he cheats on me? Given that he was hot and older and I was miles and miles away from him. At this point, I just could not keep from laughing. She was so earnest that I burst out laughing and told her the truth. She was speechless but took it in her stride. But the look on her face was priceless.😆 I don' think I will ever forget that look. But the story does not end here. Six months down the road (I had by now moved to a different hall where most internation folks lived) she introduced me to Derek her boyfriend. Guess what? He looked so much like HR that this time the joke was on me.😆
