Monica, it was beautiful. When I watched this episode play out on the show, I was very disappointed with the dialogues as Asad did not even once acknowledge Rashid's efforts. On the contrary said some wishes are never fulfilled. I thought they completely missed a possible poignant scene in the eagerness of throwing the separation symbolism our way. It was too cold for me.

What you wrote is what I had hoped to see. So, for me your scene was 1000 times better that what they showed.

Thank you! I agree! They really missed an opportunity to show a heart touching scene between them, about Rashid and his wish. It would've shown how much he truly valued and craved his father's love, which was always deserving of, but sadly never got.

I liked that they showed him giving Zoya such importance in the show. But I really felt it was incomplete. Just for the sake of separation symbolism, like you said.

omg that was perfectly beautiful! the emotions u showed were just amazing it felt so real! I really wish this happened on the show. I think the gift scene was cut too short

I'm gonna have to watch that TT video haha. I stopped watching SBB, SBS, TT and E24 for the last month. Too much ZoYaan overload. And I figured I'd let Gul surprise me. I mean she's already done irreperable damage 😆 But I wanna see how she intends to attempt to fix it.

Aapne to hamari ek arzoo puri kari--how emotionally touching this sequence could have been if the CV had let it pan like this! Somehow all these emotional sequences are kind of given fleeting glimpses off by the CV's wonder why!
Another one I feel so bad they never prolonged is the return journey from the airport after the engagement! That could have been memorable!

Maybe you could write an OS for us to make it come alive---love the way you write!

Hmm I remember that. I did want them to include something. Perhaps I will. Sure I'll give it a shot. (pun intended 😆)
