I agree with all your points. Except 2.
Shireen is not using her grey matter. She is dumb and selfish. She only thinks about her daughter. And is taking advantage of Asad's selfless nature. I'm sorry, but even if he sautela, he's human. And this woman is irked by him and anything to do with him because he is Dilshad's son.

And two, Gul may be portraying something that is common in society. But she still butchered Zoya's character here. She's supposed to be modern, makes her own decisions, can take care of herself. Here? She wasn't even asked. She was forced to go to Ayaan's house.

If Asad had talked to her, explained to her, and begged her to oblige, and then she went. I would've still respected Gul's attempt. But the way they are showing Asad just dragging her there against her will, I'm sorry its really stupid. And is completely the opposite how she was supposedly trying to depict Zoya as a 21st century girl in Indian society.

agree to every disagreement of yours.
Girl you are on a roll.
One after another dhamakedaar posts.
After so much negativity in the forum, your post comes like a whiff of fresh air.
I am loving Qh more than ever now, those who want to cry regressiveness and backwardness, do so. But I am loving this drama.

I will just say this, I have seen many stories of brothers falling in love with the same girl. They have been done on TV, in movies, in books, in mythology and will probably will be dealt with it again, but what CVs have managed destroy the whole premise of love. All is not always fair in love, maybe it is in war.

Lovely post. No doubt that gul is showing whats happening in soc and it doesnt happen only in bhopal but other state too diff is in ratio but i would love to see how to tackle with that than whats happening. She is not showing how soc work but she is using soc rule to bring zoya in sm for drama.

amber good morning 🤗you can not justify everything saying both contradicting things...thats its drama and it happens in reality...😆

things happen in society but not all bad thing happens with one person or one family involved...
girls are still bought and sold...but not the type of girls like zoya and not the type of asad and ayaan guys who are well educated belong to respectable family and have high family values...

no one does so much for half siblings in real life if you say it happens in real life...

and i am also and adult and surely have seen more life than you along with different shades...though my and your experience might be different in that span of time and you might have richer experience compare to me...
i agree love is not about eyelocks and mitwaaa which might happen in real life but surely without music😆
but life is not about lending you fiance and love for a period just for your own selfishness or your loved one's selfishness...
and you feel gul is sending social message and bringing out all problems which happens in india and specially with woman ...its not right baby...
she is using everything just for her own sake and not showing anything in good light...
if you use any social problem in your fiction ...try to act responsible otherwise do not use those sensitive topics.
anyways every one has own views..so you might be right at your place...

but if i see fiction which tries to show reality in a twisted way which is totally unpalatable i tend to feel...
because either you fee because you see wrong representation of everything or you do not feel thinking its all fake...both thing can not happen at same time that you know that its reality but still don't feel...

gul is not making some art film so she would show all social issues...she is getting right nerves of people who can feel emotions...because if they feel emotions they will either watch it as they relate to it or wont watch it because they can not bear it...
she is not targeting those people who do not feel anything for fiction..because if people will not feel anything..her business will not work...

and you might be right about indian men..but as i belong to middle class family.. i have never seen any man in my family and around who had rented his love of life or fianc for half siblings ...people give up their love because of family pressure but they do not make a deal between brothers to use their to be bride as per their convenience ...

and trust me its not like i am some crazy karan or AsYa fan who just wants to see romance all the way...i am a sensible married woman who knows whats the difference between drama and disgust.

Thank you for your supporting reply. I am more straight to the point and cannot comprhend writing in so much details. Your have voiced out ooops sorry written out my thoughts exactly.

Thanks Suja😃

As much as we would like to turn our heads away, deny or condemn from these social evils in the society, but they are very much a part of the society we dwell in.
Progressive India we talk about... sure... i won't even divulge in history... just put a few facts about the present times...

The so-called religious leader exploits a minor girl and when the law tries to catch up with him... his followers launch a protest (talk about blind-faith) and his lawyer proposes that the victim is unwell and has a disease whereby she's attracted to men!

A gal is gang raped in the capital city in a moving bus and we have politicians, contemporaries blaming her for the assault. Even more than 9 months after the gruesome attack, the defence lawyer just the other day blamed the departed soul yet again.

Everyday there is news of a dowry-deaths, rape and abuse (even in the confines of their own homes), honour killings... that too in the present india. And y just India, doesn't things happen in the other part of the world too?

So yes... its nothing new that the women are bring used as a scapegoat in the name of religion, society, morals, values, norms, customs, family, happiness of others... asad's weakness is his family and the so called half-family is using this weakness of his to ensure the guy stays tucked in the abyss.

Turning away from truth doesn't make it false... we can choose to ignore it but we can't deny that a lot of things that shouldn't happen are morally and ethically wrong happens all around us and all we can do is be the silent spectators to the play!
