BTW He did not get himself in this situation. Zoya is already married to Ayaan as per society, zoya and ayaan...Everybody believes that . Zoya got herself in this mess. I am not justifying Asad's behavior. Buty given the circumstances , I am ready to accept it and wait till the episode airs.

Also women are betrayed like this everyday. She is addressing an issue and hopefully will ask society pertinent questions.

She is not addressing the issue but hyping it up even more. My dear i am 49 and seen more life than many of you here on the forum. I am myself an adopted child and i too have seen many incidences that happen but not this blatantly as what Gul has shown. Society do not know the facts of that Nikhah as yet. She put herself in that situation trying to save Najma she does not deserve what is being thrown at her.

She has the right to her own decision. Not Ayaan nor Asad can buy and sell her like that.

These things may happen in remote villages but i think in cities people are more exposed and would not dream of even doing it.

The message should reach out to those people that this is not done and no Batter trade of a woman is legal or ethical.

I totally respect your opinion. But Asad will not just take Zoya to SM, something else will transpire in between...
Something bigger that will make him do that...
Sadly 76% of India is still rural and believe me coming from a muslim society and that too Bhopal, this though uncommon is not unheard of !

amber good morning 🤗you can not justify everything saying both contradicting things...thats its drama and it happens in reality...😆
things happen in society but not all bad thing happens with one person or one family involved...
girls are still bought and sold...but not the type of girls like zoya and not the type of asad and ayaan guys who are well educated belong to respectable family and have high family values...

no one does so much for half siblings in real life if you say it happens in real life...

and i am also and adult and surely have seen more life than you along with different shades...though my and your experience might be different in that span of time and you might have richer experience compare to me...
i agree love is not about eyelocks and mitwaaa which might happen in real life but surely without music😆
but life is not about lending you fiance and love for a period just for your own selfishness or your loved one's selfishness...
and you feel gul is sending social message and bringing out all problems which happens in india and specially with woman ...its not right baby...
she is using everything just for her own sake and not showing anything in good light...
if you use any social problem in your fiction ...try to act responsible otherwise do not use those sensitive topics.
anyways every one has own views..so you might be right at your place...

but if i see fiction which tries to show reality in a twisted way which is totally unpalatable i tend to feel...
because either you fee because you see wrong representation of everything or you do not feel thinking its all fake...both thing can not happen at same time that you know that its reality but still don't feel...

gul is not making some art film so she would show all social issues...she is getting right nerves of people who can feel emotions...because if they feel emotions they will either watch it as they relate to it or wont watch it because they can not bear it...
she is not targeting those people who do not feel anything for fiction..because if people will not feel anything..her business will not work...

and you might be right about indian men..but as i belong to middle class family.. i have never seen any man in my family and around who had rented his love of life or fianc for half siblings ...people give up their love because of family pressure but they do not make a deal between brothers to use their to be bride as per their convenience ...

and trust me its not like i am some crazy karan or AsYa fan who just wants to see romance all the way...i am a sensible married woman who knows whats the difference between drama and disgust.

I Disagree that Money is the only thing Haseena wants... She loves Drama more than Money !

Tanveer is the only who loves money more than Drama.!
Agree she is attention seeker, where drama doesn't work money does and vice versa
I Disagree that People like Haseena and Tannu Do not exist in society , they are dime a dozen
Oh yeah, they are in truck load, that's why they have to make shows like Satyamev Jayte
I Disagree that I would not do the same thing , Had I been in Asad's position !
We are all human, have our weaknesses and cant be fair to all:(
I Disagree that Asad is being a jerk. He already chose Najma's Happiness over Nikhat's. Now He has to choose Nikhat's Happiness over his own !
This has been added very intelligently track, I hated him for doing it before but now understand the need of it. He couldn't overlook Nikhat again..
I Disagree that Shireen is an Idiot. With the limited amount of grey matter she has , she is trying to do what she feels is good for her daughter !
She is stupid and irrational but atm cannot overlook her plea as mother
I Disagree that Asad can handle Haseena BI again. This time Nikhat took an extreme step. Asad and Ayaan cannot take chances, this time. Will they be happy if something happened to Nikhat ?Wouldn't the guilt kill them. Also Haseena Bi is Najma's MIL also now.The playing field has changed.
This I disagree, if atlast he uses his grey matter and play smart, he can. He is capable of taking care of sisters, and should do it if he want them alive..
I Disagree that Nikhat is immature. She reached her breaking point. She proved that she is human. What she did is foolish and not the solution , but the suicide rate in India due to such things is alarmingly high.Of the half million people reported to die of suicide worldwide every year, 20% are Indians.
Agree, everyone has limit they can be pushed till, Haseena was using her life to play her cards and I didn't see the end of game for her.
I Disagree that this does not happen in Indian Society Indian History is replete with examples,Even Jodha was sacrificed for the sake of Amer and her brothers.
What? sacrifice or suicide? anyways agree again both happens, why go that far(Jadha era), just google on last year stats..
I Disagree that Women are not considered as Objects. What Gul is depicting happens. Not Only in Indian Society but Western Society as well. And More often than not society simply is an onlooker.
Live in America myself and see women equally vulnerable here, we women, are emotional fools so fall in trap easily..
These illogical things happen in society everyday ! They need to be shown adressed discussed and resolved ! It is being done in QH but in a dramatic way
So far haven't seen in QH really but would love to see, in women like Shireen and Dilshaad. They both are good at heart but victim of other woman. Hope through Zoya, Gul show new face of woman.
I Disagree that we should judge an episode even before it airs.
LOL then how will the QH be most active forum, but I have to say for straight three days precaps have been scary than actual episode, I hope its true for tomorrow too and there is some agreement and Zoya doesn't go to SM alone but with Asad's watchful eyes and full trust..

In my 18 years of life , give or take a few years 😉...I have never seen catching, falling, eyelocks and mitwas ... yet I sometimes enjoy them even if they are illogical and most likely impossible in real life.

Now please feel free to disagree with me 😉😆
One of my Favorite stories
Once there was a woman named Kisagotami, whose first-born son died. She was so stricken with grief that she roamed the streets carrying the dead body and asking for help to bring her son back to life. A kind and wise man took her to the Buddha.
The Buddha told her, "Fetch me a handful of mustard seeds and I will bring your child back to life." Joyfully Kisagotami started off to get them. Then the Buddha added, "But the seeds must come from a family that has not known death." Kisagotami went from door to door in the whole village asking for the mustard seeds, but everyone said, "Oh, there have been many deaths here", "I lost my father", I lost my sister". She could not find a single household that had not been visited by death. Finally Kisagotami returned to the Buddha and said, "There is death in every family. Everyone dies. Now I understand your teaching." The Buddha said, "No one can escape death and unhappiness. If people expect only happiness in life, they will be disappointed."

Things are not always the way we want them to be, but we can learn to understand them.

Beautiful story, life is not black or white and so are we living in it, we all make mistakes and have to face repercussions of our action sometimes..

Loved your Once Again post too yesterday but didn't have time to reply..
