In the promo, Asad does not say Zoya must marry Ayaan.

What Asad say is "Mein Ayaan se nikaah qubool karna he hoga Zoya"... i.e he has no choice, he has to agree with Zoya's marriage to Ayaan, and the background he is forced into this position is that Nikhat has slit her wrist after Haseena walked out with Farhaan.

To save Nikhat, Ayaan has agreed to the marriage with Zoya and come to KV to speak with Asad. And Asad now has no choice but to agree. If Nikhat and Farhaan's relation was not in trouble, Asad would not have agreed.
