It's not about quitting. It's about not feeling like watching. For now, I'll just watch when the mood strikes or not ... and I guess I feel sad about that. If the story were different (captivating, tightly written and didn't lack logic) maybe I could buy into it. But because I can't buy into the concept I don't feel like "wow ... I gotta watch this great show". It's more like "hmmm ... can my intelligence take anymore?" As for only tuning in to the happy times ... well shoot me for wanting to spend my time doing something that makes me feel good and not stressed!

Well said.. My sentiments exactly... What I loved about the show was that it used to be captivating with original, well acted storylines... It has since turned into a typical soap with love triangles and nonsensical stories... For the life of me I can't understand why Tanveer and for that matter Razia are not in jail after committing heinous crimes. I can't understand why Asad and Zoya are not married as yet after multiple attempts and proclamations of simple weddings which somehow turn into massive affairs.

What has happened to the doll factory storyline? It was never fully resolved... Asad still thinks Rashid is guilty.. Did they ever truly solve the story of who shot DIlshaad... Another unresolved yet compelling storyline wasted.. Zoya's father storyline gets periodically thrown in with no one closer to finding out the truth...

As I said I started watching this show for a "different" viewing experience, however I am quickly becoming disinterested because of the unoriginal direction the plot is heading into... .

Exactly. It's not a question of the sad versus happy moments. I was riveted with the Ajmer track, and it was purely about agony. But the story line lately is muddled, illogical, has too many loop holes, and completely ignored the story that has been built up in the 8-9 months. The last month has had the story at a standstill, with the only exception being that AyRa now confessed their love for each other and accepted each other. And now even that was vain.

I was really hoping that Zoya was lead to her Abbu by Ayaan and that music box, and somehow that's why she went to the SM. But this marriage community hall nonsense is illogical, and ridiculous. Even thought Gul made it credible, it still had too many loopholes for my liking and lack of logic.

I miss the old QH. where only time was illogical. But the story lines were so interesting and different. And KaBhi's beautiful portrayal of Asya's unique dynamic. I regret wishing they confessed. I really do. I miss their old bickering, their subtle looks, and heated passionate fights. I miss the old Asya. This new lovey dovey one is also sweet and attractive in it's own way. But the whole nikaah breaking 3 TIMES. It's just too much.

Muquaddar ka khel or not, this track was not well executed. And after all the amazing story lines we've seen this show can give us, I'm not ready to settle for a sub par and badly written way of entering the main story of the whole show (according to Gul).

I know QH can do better. I've seen it. I just really pray and hope the writers and Gul get their Mojo back soon. Like really soon. Sigh.

and my thinking is that no1 has the right to tell others what they should or should not do. If ppl watch QH for the sake of ASYA, they have every right to quit if after one year, they find that their only reason for watching the serial is no more. serials are not real lives, some ppl watch them only to feel good and be entertained.
No1 is asking u to quit by the way (sorry if I sound harsh, but that's what I feel)

Agree totally and if Asad forces the nikaahnama on Zoya, then will not even do the written updates.
I wish they had chosen a different storyline such as secret Nikaah of Asad and Zoya and then ZOYA in Sm mansion and their secret meetings.
Show was much better earlier .
Now Surbhi has the gall to tell us we might even like Zoya and AYaan and Asad and Tanveer might even marry

I guess she does not take serials fandom seriously , just concerned with screen time.
She talks too much.
at least KSg. Kept quiet and respected the fans

I'm sorry but please don't blame Surbhi. She is merely a cast member. She has no say in how the track goes. Let us all remember the SR fiasco. They didn't want it. KSG was dead set against it. But they still had to do it. They are actors paid to do a job. They have an attachment to their characters for sure. But the track decisions are entirely on the writers and Gul. And they are merely trying to get the fandom behind the track.

Whether we agree or not, is an entirely different story. But please don't bash Surbhi. It really isn't the poor girl's fault. And she's a first timer in such a popular show. She's not used to such avid fandoms.

However I did like your idea of a secret Asya nikaah and their secret meetings. Hmm Maybe a new FF idea 😛
