And then our male.chauvinistic fangirl community will keep berating Zoya in many ways...

I am with Zoya on this. So what if it's a misjudjement? You can show him what you are made of once you realize that he is a creep. Mistakes happen. What matters is how you deal with them after accepting them. How yrectify. So go Zoya. Show him you are no conquest Rajveer can boast of. Just do it babe!

Zoya is a 20 something year old person. She should know better than to trust a stranger. She is an absolute fool for giving Rajveer her phone number and encouraging him to be friends with her. Had she just taken a lift, thanked him and sent him on his way she wouldn't have been called out as much.

A mistake is possible - but this is bigger than a mistake. She shouldn't have behaved like a two year old in the first place. Male chauvinistic fangirl community??? Wow! It's not chauvinism to call out Zoya for being an immature twit. There is a difference between being independent and being reckless. And she is being reckless. In today's world you have to take responsibility for your actions. If you know somewhere is dangerous and you still go out there well you kinna put yourself in a bad situation didn't you? Especially, if you are going out that late for a silly reason. Had it been a lead to find her father I wouldn't judge Zoya as harshly.

Zoya has shown complete lack of judgment and unfortunately if the writers do not show a consequence to her action many young teens will think that this is mature and appropriate behaviour and it is not. Had Zoya pulled her independence speech for a job she wanted or even for going out with a friend the situation would have been different. But in this scenario she should have shut her mouth, apologized, not lied and definitely not encouraged Rajveer to chat her up!

Sharing problems with your special someone and having the capacity to deal with them independently are two different things.Being a woman of substance does not harm any trust or love between a man and woman, in fact it increases the real man's respect for his woman.

@ bold: As much as this is a wonderful thought, I doubt that's what they're trying to show us. At the end of this track, I'm quite sure they're gonna show Zoya stuck in some situation that only Asad can save her from. They'll show us that Zoya's judgement was wrong and that she should've listened to Asad, and in essence... her dependence on Asad.
