calling urdu hindi in show?

hey im new to this forum...just recently strted watching qubool hai...i really love the show my urdu has definitely improved a lot - (lol first tyme usually my hindi improves due to star plus shud hindi shows) No offense but evn though they r speaking pure urdu in the show, why does zoya keep on calling it hindi? 😆😆😆 its sort of ignorant of the CVs. LOL

They really aren't speaking pure Urdu. It's what's spoken on a daily basis which is Hindi+Urdu+English lol

If they speak pure Urdu, we'll need subtitles in English or Hindi 😆

I speak Urdu..but i mean, its pretty much Hindi, Urdu, and English all combined when we usually speak..which is basically what the show is speaking. The only difference is, I call it Urdu when I'm speaking since it is my mother tongue. I guess they're just trying to appeal to a wider audience by calling it Hindi?
