Of course if the slap was with a diff puprose yes i would leave that guy. But relationships break easily and are mainted very difficultly. When in relationships you have to concisder eerything an weigh everything before jumping to decisions.

I wouldn't marry someone who slaps me just for the fun of it. But think about the situation. His mother was just shot, he was angry and hurt that's why he slapped her. The important thing is that he realised his mistake and apologized. He still felt guilty and mark my words, someone who has realised their mistake will do everything in his/her power to not repeat it. HIm slapping her was indeed justified by the emotion he was feeling. Anger. We can do and say crazy and hurtful things in anger and I feel it was the anger that was playing out with Asad. He would never strike her however much annoyed he used with her shayari.

Anger is the worst reason to hit someone. All domestic abusers claim to have reasons for their actions - most in fact come from very messed up families. But nothing excuses violence. Whether it's a man on a woman or a woman on a man.

The slap was the least of my issues with the screenplay - Asad throwing the phone at Zoya, pulling a gun on her, choking her all were actions akin to an abusive person.

However, saying this, Asad has more than paid for his behaviour. He has suffered through sexual assault and a guilt of a situation where he was a victim. Plus, it's a show and all the characters are flawed and stupid and I frankly don't care very much about any of them. I am here to watch a good story and if I am getting that then fine because I have discovered arguing serious issues on this forum does nobody good - only makes me want to scream! 😆

Simple answer to that is - Not justified - except the billi one because frankly if someone had tried to murder me they would be in jail or worse...so billi got off light.
