The slap was the least of my issues with the screenplay - Asad throwing the phone at Zoya, pulling a gun on her, choking her all were actions akin to an abusive person.

However, saying this, Asad has more than paid for his behaviour. He has suffered through sexual assault and a guilt of a situation where he was a victim. Plus, it's a show and all the characters are flawed and stupid and I frankly don't care very much about any of them. I am here to watch a good story and if I am getting that then fine because I have discovered arguing serious issues on this forum does nobody good - only makes me want to scream! 😆

i know asad was wrong in slapping her.he did not even hear her side of story.but then i understand why he did so.his mum was in hospital and it clearly seemed that it was all because of maryam who was brought in by zoya at first and asad di not know that zoya had asked her to leave.so yeah his mum.was dying and he thought it was because of zoya.and i don't think anyone will be in a state for explanations in such situation.
and asad apologised for what he did after he came to know the truth.and zoya knows that asad loves her.will you refuse a person who loves you with everything he has only because he committed a mistake in an emotionally shattered state?i think it will be wrong.

There are always many ways to see a situation...

If we are talking about how Gul and others make it look like hiting/slapping or manhandling a woman isnt a big deal...YES...I will be the first one to admit that its wrong how every female character of Tv drama goes and bear all the manhandling that is shown on tv...its WRONG...

I have never understood how can a woman live with a man who hits her...I asked and talked about that with my sister and mother one day when we were watching some other drama...My mother said that we have a rubbish and insensitive society, who blames woman for every and anything...if she leaves her husband the first one to tell her that she is exaggerating will be her own family...so we have to change our society, make sure that our children knows that whats wrong so they wont repeat the mistakes or their elders...

So I can see and understand what are you talking about...Cvs and Gul hav the possibility to change people and give this message to people...they can easily reach people, so its their job to give people a positive message...and not make it look like hiting/slapping or manhandling a woman isnt a big deal...

But If we are talking about how Asad slapped Zoya ONE TIME, MONTHS AGO...I cant follow you... As many other said: Asad slapped her, that was wrong...but that doesn't make him unworthy of Zoyas love...

If Asad wont have a temper issues he would have been quite PERFECT...I mean come on you your self said he is rich, handsome, has a golden heart, protective and caring...and the MOST important thing, HAS A SPINE...(QH made me realize how much a spine is important, Thanks Rashid,Imran,Ayaan,Gaffur for that)

So now if Zoya has flaws like every normal person has...HOW can Asad be perfect...?? Every person has flaws...Its IMPOSSIBLE to not have them...and Asad's flaw is his temper issues...as Zoya's is her impulsiveness...they both have regretted many mistakes because of their flaws...so now that they are happy and have learnt so much from their same said mistakes, we also should be happy...and after all this not say that Asad is an Ass and Zoya is an angle...

If Asad would have continuously slapped/hit her or even one more time slapped her I could have seen what are you talking about...But now I simply CANT...

A slap or a mistake cant show you how a person is...Slaps and mistakes CAN show you how are person is...

So coming to your Question:- will you get in to a relationship with a guy who slapped you?

That depends...Not on how rich or handsome he is...But on How much he regrets his mistake and learnt from it...how he will NEVER repeat that mistake...Because to me @Drea said it all :-

Really...?? Self control...?? I think his self control and tolerance is way too high if we confront him to other men...He bears and tolerates many things that could make any other man go crazy...

I am not justifying or anything but I think Zoya did interfere in his business way too much that even someone like him lost his control...

Admit it or not, it's common sense that you have to stay away from a man who is angry and really hurt and his mother that he loves the most in this world is dying...especially when he thinks that you are responsible for that...But what she did, go and talk to him...?? Now should I say that "But she should have had more self prevention and common sense"

He could have lost his mother and be an orphan...with all that rage and anger and hurt, he tolerated her way too much...when he said her to go away she should have...But when does she does something that he tells her...?? She had to beak the dam of his fury...

If she wanted to say sorry or tell him what really happened she could have done it when he was calm, or at least not when the doctor said that His mother was going to die...

He was no God, just a man, a very hurt and helpless man, who could do nothing to save the woman who is his mother, who means to him more then his life, more then anything...And that time woman or no woman...If anyone who was responsible for that act that made him almost lost his mother, was anywhere near him he would have done more then slap her/him...

Anyone would have done more then just a slap...That is what the love for a mother that means everything to you can make you do...and that is what fear of losing the every same mother that means everything to you can make you do...

And you know what, I dont think we would have been having the same discussion if she would have been one one who slapped him...Then everything was ok...nahi...?? We would have been saying she was angry and hurt so she did that...Nahi...?? Then why not now...?? double standards much?

The both were wrong there...so lets not talk about more Self control and more common sense...
