I have read a number of posts calling zoya as well as najma selfish , self-centred,immature and what not.But what if we look at things through their point if view.
What Zoya thinks:
She does not know Nikhat closely.She knows that Nikhat and Imran were going to have an arrange marriage which was broken by Nikhat.She saw Nikhat acting maturely and in front of everyone she was okay with Najma-Imran relationship.She does not know about the promises made by Imran to Nikhat.She does not know the extent to which Nikhat loves Imran.Everybody is thinking that she is being insesitive to Nikhat as she herself went through hell when her marriage wuth Asad was broken and she should know how it feels but the fact is that she thinks that Nikhat's alliance with Imran was just arranged.Now does it pain more if you yourself break an arranged alliance?Or when you cannot be with the person you love and who loves you just because of some rash decisions and lack of understanding?According to Zoya Najma will be the sufferer if Najran does not happen and if it happens Nikhat will move on.How can we blame her?She just does not want her best friend/sister to suffer.Where is she wrong?She loves Najma and wants her to be happy.Thats it.On the other hand she doesnt even know Nikhat how can we expect her to care for Nikhat rather than Najma?On humanity grounds she thinks about her as much as any other person would.How is that selfish or wrong.She is not potrayed as any mahaan lead she is just a human being with certain flaws.For her Imran is the right man for Najma because he stood up for her in front of everyone.What type of person Haseena is matters but not more than Imran and Najma's love.
What Najma knows:
Najma is a baby .She is in pehla pyaar mode.She sees what Imran wants her to see.She completely believes that Imran loves her and will never decieve her.She is already guilty that she left Imran in the first place.Now she doesnt want to leave him at any cost because she has seen him broken on Eid and before.Also she has not been involved with Nikhat still she considers her as a sister.She did noy want to do injustice to her which was visible in her initial conversations with imran.And come on love makes one a little self-centred.Let us for a moment think that Imran truly loves Najma.He is not hiding anything from her nd Najma loves her too.Due to Asad's fear Najma breaks her relation with Imran.Imran's mother forces him for a relation and he complies.Then the relation is broken from the other side and he meets Najma again because he realizes that he cannot live without her.This is what Najma knows and here nowhere Imran is wrong so she desperately wants to marry him. I strongly believe that Imran is the one who is at fault because he has not told the entire truth to anyone.He is being unfair to both Nikhat and Najma.
P.s.-Yes I am biased because I just love Zoya so much.:p
