Just one question can anyone please clearly tell me what has Asad exactly did for Ayaan, besides buying him a bike, other than that when Ayaan wanted Asad to not be a witness against Rashid, Asad clearly said no. Have I missed any episode where Asad has sacrificed something for Ayaan besides his money. I am tires of constantly seeing comments that says that Ayaan always runs to bhaijaan when he wants something. Ayaan did stood up for Najma, he clearly told off imraan by saying that if he was not able to stand up for Nikhat (i do not care if he was not in love with her, he did say that when he met her he started respecting her and she was about to become his wife he should have stood up for her) how would he be able to stand up for Najma and when Imraan did that, it upset Ayaan more not because he wanted to hurt Najma but because of the mere fact that his sister has been insulted million times by Imraan's mother but he did not utter a word.
1. Shireen and Rashid have a fight - Ayaan overhears - He comes to Asad to discuss his parents troubled marriage without even considering how Asad might feel.
2. Asad - Ayaan and Feroze
3. Asad sacrificing his dignity to get Haseena to marry Nikhat
4. For being his support system despite the fact that Shireen hurt his mother so much
5. Went against his promise to his mother because Ayaan was sick and in the hospital (albeit Zoe helped)
6. As been his moral compass - Re: Ayaan almost murdering Imran.
7. Forgave Ayaan for giving a bribe and maligning his name on national television
8. Took care of baby Ayaan at a great personal cost when Shireen (the great mother *rolls eyes*) abandoned her son in the care of the woman whose life she had destroyed and her paramour Rashid.
Ayaan did not stand up for Najma - he was just making a point that Imran never stood up for Nikhat.
@bold - Further proof on how incredibly immature and selfish Ayaan as a character is. Why should Asad be forced to lie for Rashid on the stand? Rashid is very much a criminal and what Ayaan did is also criminal. Loving your brother doesn't mean Asad has to be obligated to buy him the latest of everything or mollycoddle him. Asad needs to learn to see his brother for who he is and Ayaan needs to learn to fend for himself and grow the hell up without having anyone in his corner.
