Imran did not think that Najma would come. Najma has free will - if she didn't want to she still didn't have to see Imran. It works both ways.

4. For being his support system despite the fact that Shireen hurt his mother so much

5. Went against his promise to his mother because Ayaan was sick and in the hospital (albeit Zoe helped)

6. As been his moral compass - Re: Ayaan almost murdering Imran.

7. Forgave Ayaan for giving a bribe and maligning his name on national television

8. Took care of baby Ayaan at a great personal cost when Shireen (the great mother *rolls eyes*) abandoned her son in the care of the woman whose life she had destroyed and her paramour Rashid.

Ayaan did not stand up for Najma - he was just making a point that Imran never stood up for Nikhat.

@bold - Further proof on how incredibly immature and selfish Ayaan as a character is. Why should Asad be forced to lie for Rashid on the stand? Rashid is very much a criminal and what Ayaan did is also criminal. Loving your brother doesn't mean Asad has to be obligated to buy him the latest of everything or mollycoddle him. Asad needs to learn to see his brother for who he is and Ayaan needs to learn to fend for himself and grow the hell up without having anyone in his corner.

thanks pri...😆 i was thinking from where to start 😕]More important...on rashid case asad even said no to his mother..who is everything to him...he went against his mother...ayaan comes after his mother for him...

That was a dramatic episode...
I pity Nikhat.Poor girl..she doesnt deserve this...
Imran is such a selfish guy and Nazma too...
Ayan tho totally forgot that he is talking to his bhaijaan. He once again proved how easily he cud misunderstand Asad...Funny thing is he claims that he understand his bhaijaan more than anyone and he is the one who misunderstands him first.

Okay Asad protected Ayaan against feroz anyone would do that, I mean Ayaan would have not run away if Asad was in the same situation he would have fought for him. Rashid is not a criminal because he hadn't actually killed the women, he had been forced to believe that. Asad did not break his promise to his Ammi, it was all Zoya's plan and if we want to look at it that Asad did break his promise than so did Ayaan so their equal in this part. As for supporting him Ayaan has done the same, he supported Asad when everyone thought that he had slept with Tanveer, Ayaan did not believe that. Ayaan came to Asad when his parents had a fight because he knew that Asad will know what he is feeling, it wasn't selfish but immaturity at that point.

@delena90: I agree Najma has free will, so why did Imraan wait till after he broke the engament, if Najma still loves Imraan, she would have come before all this fiasco as well. All I do not get is why did Imraan wait so long to call Najma?

The only thing that I am disliking is that most people are calling Ayaan selfish, he is not selfish, he is immature I agree that sometimes he says things he should not but that is because he is still immature not because he is selfish.

Have I missed any episode where Asad has sacrificed something for Ayaan besides his money. I am tires of constantly seeing comments that says that Ayaan always runs to bhaijaan when he wants something. Ayaan did stood up for Najma, he clearly told off imraan by saying that if he was not able to stand up for Nikhat (i do not care if he was not in love with her, he did say that when he met her he started respecting her and she was about to become his wife he should have stood up for her) how would he be able to stand up for Najma and when Imraan did that, it upset Ayaan more not because he wanted to hurt Najma but because of the mere fact that his sister has been insulted million times by Imraan's mother but he did not utter a word.

Frist q when u start to see QH.because forum ka baccha bacha janta hai what asad did for ayaan

What you would have done here is provided an example that is sheerly working against your argument. I'm not going to argue against the fact that Asad has been an imbecile on multiple occasions. Regardless, I will say this: none of those occasions pertained to Ayaan. He has always been gentle and loving with Ayaan. A mentor of sorts.

@bold: Let me get this straight. You are saying that because Ayaan said that his brother slept with another woman in order to run away from an unwanted, he's all saintly? I'm sorry to say that the particular scene you are referring to had the opposite effect on most people. By uttering that statement, all Ayaan showed was that in all these years of avant garde self-absorption, he has failed to understand his brother. And let's face it. He never tried. It has always been about "I wish I knew what's troubling Ammi. I'd kill the person that haunts her thoughts".

This is exactly what i am saying Ayaan has not been given many opportunities to prove himself as a brother where Asad has been given opportunites just by looking at one side we cant consider Ayaan to be a selfish character. The opportunities that he has been given are always when he will be forced to hurt other people like today if he protected Asad and najma his Ammi, Nikhat to some extent would be hurt. Whereas Whenever Asad helped Ayaan he was not hurting any if his family members. I agree Asad is a mentor to Ayaan And ayaan needs to learn a lot for him he needs to mature up and think before saying things but thats not enough to establish as selfish.
