People may complain because its not 'their' type of romance, but I think its amazing how they're developing the bond and understanding between the characters.

You are missing the point Ankie - nobody tells a 9 year old such shite. It is emotionally scarring and wrong whether Asad comes from a broken home or a happy one. Nobody...not even a parent has the right to shatter or undermine someones...especially a child's... confidence.

I guess you failed to understand that while Asad wanted to prove his teacher wrong the fact he still remembers this proves that it affected his psyche and that it was a very wrong thing for his teacher to do and say

Btw...what connection did my post have to Asad's character? I solely made an observation about the teacher. Also, I don't really need to understand Asad - he is a character and who will change, grow, regress as much as the writers want him to.

asad and zoya .. in my entire telly wood journey i confess you are my first OTP and the one whom i got so attached to... i am overloading with emotions seeing that scene again and again...they are so happy together and that hand holding spoke volumes..
