TOI: QH wishes Eid Mubarak

Expect a grand celebration this Eid on telly showQubool Hai. The three-hour event, with music and dance performances by various actors of the channel, is titled Eid Mubarak: Qubool Hai. The lead couple of the show, Asad (Karan Singh Grover) and Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti), will perform to a medley of three songs.

Says Karan, "This is for the first time an entertainment channel is celebrating Eid as grand as Diwali and Holi. Also, the show will offer a new twist. I will fulfil Zoya's last wish of reuniting her with her father, who she hasn't met for the past 22 years." Adds Surbhi, "Apart from entertaining, the show also attempts to educate the audience through its progressive approach. While playing a Muslim girl, I have worn all kind of clothes ' even mini skirts and denims. This Eid will be special for the viewers as many highpoints will begin to unravel in the show."

The event will also see singer Javed Ali's rendition of the songs Kun Faya Kun and Arziyaan. Another highlight of the show will be actors Karan V Grover, Ankit Gera and Aniruddh Dave performing as Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, respectively.

Eid Mubarak: Qubool Hai will air tonight from 6 to 9 pm on Zee TV.
