I understand your feelings but at the end of the day it's a fictional show, there will be flaws regardless of how perfect they try to portray it, but the anguish you are feeling regarding that song and the fact that you acknowledged how wrong it is for Muslims speaks for it self Mashallah, your post was very thoughtful👏

I'm not a Muslim neither do I know much about the religion but to be very honest, I saw nothing wrong with the scene. From what you've written in your post, I understand your sentiments and totally respect your opinion. But think about it. There was a reason why he wasn't shown singing those lines instead it was used as a background score. Just because someone says I see God in you doesn't mean they literally see God in that person. It's a figurative way of describing one's feelings. From what I understood that background song just depicted the depth and purity of their feelings.

No offence, but why do people bring religion into everything? Gul isn't trying to show an ideal Muslim family nor is she trying to preach the religion. It's an Indian family that happens to be Muslim. So would you have been fine with the song and the scene, if they were not Muslims? I don't want to get into this religion debate because it's a sensitive topic. It's just a fictional show and bringing religion into everything might offend some people. No religion preaches wrong things. All religions are ideal in their own way. Try to differentiate between religion and the people who follow the religion. Religions are ideal but people are not. People make mistakes whether they are Muslims, Hindus, Christians or any other religion.

People are humans first and then religious. As I said before, religion is ideal but people are not! There are bad people in every religion but that doesn't mean religion preaches wrong stuff. It all comes down to one's character and mentality after all!

of course there are bad bitches everywhere but they showed them as pretty overwhelming ,i bet in reality there is no creatures like tanveer and razia in any religion becoz women like them can't camouflage their true faces this long, they can't be in social like razia do

P.S i dont meant to hurt anyone ,apart from religion showing women like this will bring bad to our socity
