It's just a show..don't be so judgemental about it

and plus i feel that this song isnt written for QH..It's a song from the movie Rab ne bana di jodi..and Gul used the song just to create a romantic moment ..i don't think she meant to be offensive in any way

I am a muslim myself and i believe we do a lot of things in normal life that is not allowed in Islam and If u r so judgemental about a TV show then i would suggest u to be even more judgemental about ur own life..and u know something.. forget about other things.. watching TV is forbidden in islam in the first place ..so if u r such a strict follower of Islam then u should'nt be watching QH in the first place cuz watching tv isnt allowed..

When u watch a tv show U watch asya's love scenes and i m sure u like KSG and having a crush on a guy isnt considered something great in islam

As i have seen comments from people they are learning about Islam from Qubool hai so they should not learn that. We as Muslims are to go back to Allah so being given the power to express my feelings i should have guts to talk about it and i did. For me i have achieved what i wanted from this thread. 😃

thats gud u expressed it!! u know if u c anythng wrong try everythng u can, but if its no more in ur hand, then at least take it wrong in ur heart!! i really likd ur post!!

but the best part is that qubool hai is a clean family show.. showing islam in a better way.. trust me if u watch the turkish shows dubbed n being watched in pakistan😕 where the characters are muslims at the same time drinking alcohol and showing vulgarity. the romance shown in qubool hai is rather sweet n the dresses decent.😃

I know that is why it hurts so much as i love this show for portraying Muslims in a good manner and now people are seeing us in good light but this left a bad taste in the mouth. I am a big fan of the show so did not wanted a bad memory associated with it anyways i know it was not intentional from them but yes when it hurts it does "I am from Pakistan and u know i was even offended when in some episode Nikhat was defending Humeira's Hindu look and said she is playing a Hindustani girl in a play!!!! Muslims in India are also Hindustani anyways 😕

guys it's not the only thing which contradict with the islamic rules. in fact this maybe the lightest thing ..
qubool hai is not a show to present or promote islam . it's just a show that have taken islamoc culture and some terms to make their show special ..

I'm a muslim and every day i see many things contradict with Islam .
but I dob't care .. after all I want take QH as a guide for me and it won't change my religious principls abd faiths

I understand your sentiments.

That being said, what a fictional drama shows isn't going to change the monotheistic nature of Islam. And contrary to the popular belief around this forum, Qubool Hai never was and never will be the model show for Muslims. They deviate from the religion and that's okay. Because it's fiction. The production house never promised to show us the "right" Muslims. It's a story of two particular families. And people sin. It's as simple as that.

And (I haven't seen the episode yet, so correct me if I'm wrong) the song was used as background music. Which means that its sole purpose was to create a romantic ambience for the viewers. It wasnt as if they were singing it to each other.

Yeah I did not listen that song because there is shrik but its a serial there are so many things which are not allowed in Islam so I can tolerate so for us it's best that we should not listen such songs even when they play during serials

You always come when i exhausted my post limits lolzz this might be the last post i have for today so let me make it count.

The song sequence started with them having a romantic moment and asad saying to Zoya that "Mere liye jannat wahin hai jahan ap hain" and then those intense looks you know when you love someone you see them as your heaven your everything in this case the songs lyrics/words took it far for me that is he so much in love now that he is seeing her as Almighty and want to bow down. So the song choice ruined the moment for me and then put an anguish in my heart to reject it out loud and let people know that it hurts. my thread served the purpose for me 😊

You are right; however, the point of the song is to say that the person sees goodness in the other person and not necessarily that the person is God him or herself.

If you want to get nit picky there is a hadith that some maulanas love to reiterate and that after Allah, if there is anyone whom a woman should do sajda, it is her husband. Yep, the maulanas love this hadith especially those who don't have a spine.

Many people chose to ignore the flaws in this show as they are so thankful there is a show about Muslims but they forget that just because there is one doesn't mean they should take such leeway that the characters don't even resemble Muslims.

And on an interesting note, what happened to Zoya's "beautiful" (and I say that with sarcasm) beautiful micro mini - I mean belt? As she worn it again?
