Some people have complained that SJ is not up to the mark in these romantic scenes but I disagree- she is playing her character very well. Watch the second teri meri dance and you will know what I am saying- she can really be romantic and sensuous. Zoya is just not ready for it yet. She can laugh it off and say, "aap kya kar rahe hain Mr.Khan? Itni khushi mujhse bardasht nahin hogi, kahin nazar na lag jaaye." Zoya has had no problem in expressing and giving love to others but when someone gets too close, she hasn't learnt to open all the doors to her heart completely. That's why she still has to go through some more pain, some growth and realization which perhaps her fifth wish will grant her. Then she will learn to swim freely in this river of love.

Loved these lines. Very well said. And I agree with you. There is nothing wrong about SJ's performance. But its just that Zoya feels awkward and gets nervous the moment Asad tries to get close to her. And Asad is a changed man now. Tanveer taught him a lesson. The same way, Gaffur will teach Zoya a lesson. Tanveer was a test for Asad and now Gaffur will be a test for Zoya.
