Yes, she has found a home with Asad and his family but that is relatively a new thing. How can you expect her to squash a life long yearning to put a face to the mystery that is her father? That yearning is rooted in a small childs dreams and prayers, in a teenager's rants and angst and in a women's need to establisha family of her ownwith a husband and childreneven when she feels that she noroots of her own. I have a few adopted friends and even though they have loving homes that sense of abandonment and feeling adrift stays with them always and because of this insight I actually appreciate the way they showed Zoya's dilemma.

someone's innocence is a lot more important! How could she even consider keeping a psychopath at home!?

Zoya Selfish?? How??😲

She was humiliated a million times by this man who claims to love her!!
He always chose his frend over his love!!
she came to Inda with the sole purpose of finding her father!! n she still doesn't knw the truth of her father!! If Asad is innocent according to ppl then Zoya s innocent too...she doesn't knw the truth!!
and how exactly is she selfish?? She came back to him even after that horrendous sight she witness on her wedding day!! only to be Rejected once again by the saint who chose reponsibility over love!! He has hurt her in every way possible!! n she had always tried to help him in every way possible!!
then why can't Zoya choose father over love??? Any gal/boy wud do that!!
She still stayed in his house even after so mucch humiliation and so many death attacks by Asad's bestie and the man never tried to knw wat was happening in his house!! He was so lost in himself n his own pain that he never tried to knw wat is Zoya goin through!!
he is lucky that Zoya wud still forgive him after all this and they are back together, coz if I were Zoya I wud never done that...the man never trust her🤢
She tried a hundered times to show him the truth to tell him everything but never let her speak,. or even wen he let her he never trust her!!
So Zoya's decision of choosing father over this man was absolutely right...coz I don't knw why ppl expect Zoya to fight for Asad wen he is just accepts everything blindly and is not willing to see the truth!! She madde the right choice until she herself comes to knw the truth of her father just like Asad cums to knw Tanveer's truth!!!
but well, nothin new..I hav always seen this that Asad is innocent, in guilt n Zoya is selfish blah blah...well, the man never tried to make it up to her instead left her at the wedding twice🤢
If Asad had faced so many death attacks coz of sum frend of Zoya or she wud have left him at the wedding day twice, the forum wud hav gone to God knows wat extent to hate on Zoya...but Asad is allowed anything n everything...and Zoya is always selfish🤢...yeah right🥱

TM I don;t get up point of calling her selfish...I see things frm both Asad n Zoya's perspective, and Asad's past deeds are so wrong that I see no harm or selfishness in Zoya choosing her father over him!!

lets just agree to disagree🥱

I wud hav argued if u wud hav tried to read wat I wrote n why exactly she never was selfish and she still is not, I am talking about AsYa not Zoya alone...u hav already concluded that she is selfish which I don't agree with so no point arguing!!
for me, she has sacrificed her father and has chosen Asad!! So no point of any kind of selfishness!!

Zoya is not mahan, nor does she pretend to be. she is a good person, but first of all she is a person, and fallible. she has searched for her father all her life, a part of her that craves to find him overpowered her love for Asad and her wanting to side with the truth. it does not make her selfish but human

I applaud the cvs for portraying zoya as human and not the self-sacrificial selfish heroines we see on Indian Telly. Zoya has always longed to know her indentity. She has a right to know where and who she came from. She has a right and thirst to ask her father why he abandoned her and her mother. She deserves those answers. It's very hard for us to understand how an orphan or an abandoned child feels. They yearn to know their parents. There is nothing more cruel than a child beig denied parental love and zoya has every right to question and seek that love out. So, for me, it was poignant that for a minute she struggled with her conflict. It was even more poignant that she made the right choice despite the steep cost to her.

To the tm - yes she was selfish because human beings are inherently selfish. If we were not we would amount to nothing in life.
