OKAY I'll share one.

So I have this habit of talking with my hands. Like you'd think I'm Italian or something with the amount of hand motions I make while talking -.-

So anyway, my crush, our friends & I were in the car going to this party & I was telling them this freaky story of something that happened to me the day before & I was getting like really into it & ish.

And then out of nowhere, I swear LITERALLY out of NOWHERE, my index finger went up my crush's nose 😳

Like one moment I was narrating this super interesting story and the next moment...

I was praying this was like some nightmare or something but of course not -.-

There was like dead silence for 3 seconds and then my friends started laughing.

Can you imagine how awkward and absolutely GROSS it was to take my finger out of his nose🤢

I wanted to just jump out the car and just move to another country far far away so I'd never have to see him.

Like oh God, why me 😵

And we were just becoming friends at that point so he probably just thought of me as girl-who-stuck-her-finger-up-my-nose from that point on

🤣 Aww you poor thing! I know how you feel! I was at a friends house, and I happened to have a crush on her older brother at that point. This was in the 7th grade.

So we're in her room and being kids we're trying to figure out what to do to pass the time. She mentions she has a karaoke machine. And I got really excited cause I love to sing. Plus her machine gives your scores out of 100. So we go to the media room (yes they had a separate room. This house was massive). And keep in mind that this room is RIGHT across from his room. Remember that.

So we start by looking for songs to sing, and I decide to pick My Heart Will Go On because I was obsessed with Titanic at that time. (I know it's a little explicit for an 12 year old LOL, but in Latin America, things happen faster, like people starting to drink at 12, not that I did that).

So I start singing, really awkwardly at first, because I'm very self conscious and it takes me time to get comfortable. My friend and her sister start cheering me on so I start smiling and singing a little more confidently.

And when it got to the second chorus, I closed my eyes and got REALLY into it, cause I knew the lyrics by heart. And I started pointing at random directions, here and there, belting out the high notes. When I open my eyes, I see my crush. He has his hand on his mouth he tries to stop laughing.

I WANTED TO DIE. My hand was stretched out in his direction, as if I was beckoning him to come hither. *facepalm*. So yeah. Suffice to say, I stopped singing, looked down and blushed FURIOUSLY. And his two sisters started laughing along with him.

Sigh. Life of a lovestruck tween.
