Ajmer's Dargah Sharif created in Mumbai!

The lead stars of Zee's Qubool Hai — Karan Singh Grover (Asad) and Surbhi Jyoti (Zoya) — were recently in Ajmer to shoot a crucial scene at the Dargah Sharif premises. However, they were mobbed just as they reached the main gate outside the Dargah. Within minutes, the crowds doubled and the security guards had a tough time trying to the keep fans from coming too close to the actors.The shoot schedule was brought to a halt as it was impossible to shoot with the crowds behind. The source says, "Director, Gul Khan had planned that Karan and Surbhi will shoot in the bazaar area that leads to the Dargah and also pay their respects at the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The team thought it would be apt to shoot Asad and Zoya's declaring their love for each other at the pious dargah of Ajmer. But unfortunately, the crowd made it impossible for the crew to shoot there and the crew returned to Mumbai without shooting the scene. Now a replica of the dargah will be created in Mumbai."
Karan says, "We took off to Rajasthan to shoot some very important sequences that were crucial to the show. Braving the scorching heat, we did manage to shoot in Jaipur and the deserts of Pushkar but our main agenda of shooting in Ajmer around the Dargah Sharif went completely for a toss. Huge number of people followed our every step wanting to click pictures and touch us. It was berserk and scary from the point of someone getting hurt and our own security! I was worried about the ladies in the crew. People could have got hurt in this stampede. Even the security and burly bouncers were of little use. Though it's overwhelming to know that our fans love us so much, it pains me to acknowledge that we couldn't shoot in Ajmer as desired. Now we are planning to create a replica of the dargah in Mumbai and shoot!"
