and the way Asad was waiting for her and thinking to himself she won't come

the way he hates himself for ruining her and taking away her smile

the way Zoya is angry at him yet she can't control herself when his name is mentioned

this is what is called love

and what Karan and Surbhi are doing is exactly what talented and great actors do

Yes the lifeless Zoya suddenly smile and jumps into life back again but then as she reaches the door, reality dawns upon her and the betrayal breaks her down. Brilliantly enacted by Surbhi.

Asad feels the remorse of breaking her trust, her heart and destroying her spirit. His concern for her was so evident and good thing was he respected her need to be alone. That was beautiful. Karan's portrayed the angst superbly.
