Yes, I am enjoying the fire on QH IF than QH itself. It is interesting the read the OS, TS, emotions, reactions... so it makes the world an interesting place.
These are some thoughts that's crossing my mind which I thought of writing down and sharing with you all here.
QH has not disappointed me till now: so I will keep faith in the CVs and let them do as they want without jumping to conclusions till the moment comes when they do something really stupid and disappointing to me.. agree that there are minor hitches here and there but till now, QH has been different and unique and we have seen twists and turns that are quite different from things happeneing elsewhere and I am sure that this is the reason why we all love QH and is sticking with it.
Yesterday's episode was a huge disappointment. June 16th was Father's day...we have just come back after a beautiful day of honoring our parents. June 17th, with great anticipation sat down to watch QH, to see what... a daughter throwing her mother who is "supposedly" ill out of house. Would any of us do so? I would have just dropped everything, I would have been hugging my mother, consoling her and I definitely would not have let her go alone with the doctors/hospital staff...and I'm sure all of us would have done the same too. It was disheartening to see this scene being shown in QH. So is this what makes QH different and unique? Remember Humeira has no clue of Razia's plans...all the more reason for Humeira to have been with her mother, supporting her mother. This is not a minor hitch but a huge one. If it was between Razia and Badi Bhi no problem, but not between Mother and daughter.
Humeira acted very well but what was the point of those tears after kicking her own mother out especially when her mother needed her the most????
It is mainly the story and what the CV s do with it that keeps the audience hooked. It's not just the actors, KSG and SJ and their chemistry.. If they show crap, no body will see it even with KSG and SJ in it.. and ironically that's what against which we all are fighting right now and bashing the CVs .. because we think they are going to show some crap.. But till now they have not done and they have managed to give us a good serial worth watching.. so why will they suddenly commit suicide?
I started watching QH because I thought the storyline of QH was all about relationships... It was beautifully portrayed in the earlier stages of QH... Asad and Zoya's awareness that grew in a slow and steady pace, not acknowledging when they thought about the possibility... Asad being Asad...even though he admitted to himself that he loved Zoya, not convinced that he is doing the right thing... excellent script writing... QH actors did justice to their roles.
It was a pleasant surprise that QH had catered for two kinds of audience, one that liked dramas and the other kind that like it more realistic. So the drama happened at Ayaan's place and the more realistic scenes happened in Asad's place... the budding romance, the love between the half-siblings... beautifully done. But the past few weeks, Ayaan and Asad hardly speak with each other.. Asad is not interested and Ayaan does not care as much. Asad looked like a prop in the whole thing... Asad sit here, he sat there...Asad look at Zoya, he looked at Zoya... mitwa moment Asad...blink your eye and he did so...Asad stand and he stood... Karan was made to act like a robot.
It was during the mehendi ceremony, Asad came to a full realization that Zoya is the right one for him and his love went to a different level. The writers did nothing at all to enhance that moment...ok sure Asad was given some great dialogue that showed his support for Zoya but what about the other emotions... His want to be with her...he want to see her all the time...
Zoya too just realized she loves Asad (with the help of Tanveer of course) but again nothing was done about. Where was the search for Asad, sure her hand was burning but when you realize that you love someone, no matter what the problem is, what pain you are going through..you are constantly look for the person you love...Zoya being Zoya was constantly doing silly things to catch Asad's attention.
In the earlier episodes of QH this was so well done...and this little details that put into the episode is what made QH unique and different. We watched the love grow between Asad and Zoya and it was like we watching a little child grow. But now the writers are cutting through these scenes to get some message across and the whole essence of ASYA is now lost...The chemistry that was there, hot and vibrant, has become lukewarm... In yesterday's episode... even when Asad held her hand in his hand, they did not show it...they just showed him looking down...so we are to assume, he's held her hand... For all you know, Karan is just standing there with his hands in his pocket, looking down... Very poor editing... SBS did a better editing job in conveying the AsYa's realization of their love for each other... Watch the SBS segment and then watch the part when Zoya says that she did not complain because she wanted to ensure that any of the functions are spoilt. It will grip you hard.
Today's precap made me more convinced that the CVs will not disappoint us. In how many searials do we see such sweet things being done and characters being developed and story progressed so beautifully?... I am really surprised by the dialogues they have used in the precap.. the reference to something that has happened so long back by Asad and Zo and remembering that and connecting that incident to their present and acknowledging how far they have come and realizing that what they both wished each other long ago has come true to them as each other.. tell me in how many serials do we see such beautiful scenes with connection to what happened in past..
After yesterday, I think I might continue watching because of QH-IF as it is interesting to read the frustration, the emotions of the IF group.
Usually most of the serials doesn't have any real connection when it comes to simple but yet beautiful things.. but Qh manages to capture those simple emotions so beautifully .. and that's what makes it unique.
And that's what makes us hooked to QH.. so have faith in CVs.
2. QH is a family drama: and family drama's without the typical Saas Bahu background is what majority of the audience loves these days..
I don't know how many of you watch PKDH on star plus.. the show has been on Top ten since past one year and on top 5 and top three continuously for the past 6 months or so and its TRP rarly falls below 3.. why is the show so succeful? Because it's a modern day family saga.. family drama.. its not a typical saas bahu drama but the story is well written with many characters and each chracter's story so well etched. The main leads, Aditya and Pankudhi got married early in the serial.. audience loves to see them together and face the troubles that the family goes through and try to solve them.. along the way we also get to see the cute nok joks of them and sometimes fights and MUs as well.. but they are never separated long and there is enough masala in the story to take it forward without falling to sick and unpalatable plots.
What I am trying to say is that QH has the same base.. its also a family drama and there are equally well etched characters and there is so much in the story that can be shown without plotting cheap tracks.. so if Gul Khan and others involved are smart enough they would realize audience pulse and what runs successfully these days..
How many K serials are running successfully these days? PR's TRP rarely goes above 2.. the most successful now is balhe ache and that is because its one of the atypical one of theirs..
Ekta is a smart business woman.😉... she knows that the typical serials that she had churned out now don't run.. that's the reason why she is now more focused on movies..
Gul's brand of story telling is what runs these days.. Gul is also smart so why would Gul kill the chicken which is laying golden eggs for her? Think positively.
This consummation is definitely not going to happen. Tanveer is not even a grey character.. she is the parallel villain pregnant with another man's child and trying to hook a guy whom she is going to pass off as the father of her illegitimate child.. and if she manages to sleep with Asad, that is disgusting.. and i have faith that Cvs will not show that kind of tracks.. such things are still digestible if it happens with grey characters.. but Tanveer is not even grey.. she is evil personified. and she cannot succeed in sleeping with the hero..
It does not matter whether Tanveer sleeps or does not sleep with Asad. Whether it is technically possible or impossible to do so... That's not the point... It is crudeness of it...Asad is being portrayed as cheap person...He was at the factory godown to have sex with a person when he have had ample chance... He was walking in and out of Tanveer's bedroom all the time...more than he did with Zoya... Why didn't Tanveer just take him to her room? It would have been more realistic... gosh not a cheap place like a factory godown... This twist, by the way, is not unique or new. So where is the uniqueness? Where is the finesse that QH once had? So now can it still be considered a family serial?
And how will tanveer sleep with a drugged Asad who is unconscious? Doesn't it require some cooperation from Asad? a man can rape or have sex with a woman who is unconscious but can a woman do it with an unconscious man?.. Technically, yes a man can. the subconscious mind is still at work.
So here, even if this accusation track plays out(but there are 101 other possibilities for a shirtless Asad in a factory), a consummation will never happen.. but Tanveer will pretend that it happened and Asad will not remember anything that happened clearly.. and because he cannot remember, he might feel that may be like tanveer is accusing he did something in a drowsy state, which is what Tanveer will make others and Asad believe.. but in reality he would be completely drugged and not in a state to do anything and nothing will happen..😊
