And today the mehendi that Zoya put on her hand in the name of Asad became a real acid test for Zoya, because of the acid put in it by Tanveer and because of the challenge Tanveer threw at Zoya.

Tanveer's challenge and the acid she put in the mehendi was an acid test of Zoya's love towards Asad and his family. In fact whatever Tanveer has done till now turned out to be a test for both Asad and Zoya, and they have passed out with flying colours and today was no exception.

Yesterday Asad's praise of Zoya left Tanveer burning with jealousy and hatred and so it was inevitable that she would let go of it without doing something to spoil Zoya's special moment.

The moment that mehendi is being put on any bride's hand is perhaps more special than the actual moment of the wedding itself. And Zoya was no exception, when she dreamily said in front of the mirror that today on my hand mehendi will be put in your name.


And Zo came out wearing the dress Asad gifted her looking as beautiful as a fairy tale princess.

( I wish SBS/ SBB had not shown Zo in that dress.. it really spoiled the moment when it finally aired because we have seen so many segments and pictures and had gotten used to how she looked)..

when she came and stood in front of Asad, her eyes were shining with hopes and dreams of the future that she was going to share with Asad.

At that moment little did she knew that Tanveer would pose such a difficult situation for her and when Tanveer challenged Zo saying that Zo herself would refuse to put mehendi, for the first time I saw fear in Zo's eyes, wondering what Tanveer would do to make her refuse the mehendi.

The fear that was in her eyes showed the importance of the mehendi for Zo. It wasn't a fear of Tanveer... It was a fear of letting Asad down.. of letting dilshad down.. and it was a fear thinking she may loose Asad if Tanveer continues with this game and she is somehow not able to put mehendi on her hands.. But then Zo with her never ending courage faced the situation bravely like always and let go of her fear.

And then when Tanveer came and whispered in her ears that she had put acid in the mehendi Zo's eyes again showed a moment of fear.. but she sat with determination. There still was an amount of fear in her eyes when they brought the mehendi and was about to put it but the moment she heard Dilshad's voice saying that the first bit of mehendi should be put by the MIL, Zo got the courage that she needed to face it. Zo knew that this is her MIL and that is her to be husband who is sitting across, staring at her with so much love and she would not let them down..

It was hilarious to see Tanu's satisfied expression when Zo for a brief moment held Dilshad's hand, thinking that Zo is stopping Dilshad. But when Zo brought her hand out and made Dilshad put the mehendi, Tanu's smile got wiped away.. and although it pained her so much, the moment that first drop of mehendi was put on Zo's hand and she didn't even withdraw her hand, Zo conquered the battle.

"Dard balha zalim hota hai, insan ko thod kar deta hai."

True tanveer, I agree with you.. But when there is love at heart that is pure, and when you are surrounded by people who love you equally, dard malam banjaatha hai.. And for Zo, the pain became something that she could easily bear. It did hurt her.. it made her flinch.. it brought tears to her eyes.. but still, she courageously bore the pain and passed the test of love...it tested the value , quality and meaning of Zo's love for Asad and Asad's place in Zo's heart.. And Zo passed with flying colours, showing tanveer that true love can conquer any hurdle and win any challenge and any battle.

Congratulations to Zo and us .. finally Asad's name in mehendi is put on Zo's hand and that too by Tanveer herself.

People say that was the need for Zoya to give that test.. She could have told it... But what i feel is pain makes love stronger... Its the emotion pain which binds people more stronger...

Love without hurt and pain is not worth it.. Kisi cheez ko paane ke liye, takleef uthani padti hain...

To gain Asad's trust, his love and respect for herself - she took this step... Their realtionship is bound by love..

U see in every drama, every novel, every romantic movie, ,love legends - Pain and love go together.. .You have to bear something for someone you love...

U cannot have a succesfull life till u faced some hurdles.. You cannot reach your destination by just walking.. You have to fall, then get up and walk again... Success doesnt come without hardwork..

Zoya passed her test with flying colors...

Lets see how much Asad passes his... To make a marriage work, both have to work, adjust and love and trust each other.. And to get trust you have to work.. Love might come in first sight, trust doesnt...

Asad needs that jhatka and i hope Mangalpur part 2 / Ajmer will bring it out in him... But he will have to give his test... I hope he comes out in flyin colors in the first attempt...

I loved the scene where they were silently exchanging smiles... Almost as if they were a couple in love desperately waiting to get married...

That look Omg - fell in love with Asad and Zoya again.. Their smiles was the best part of the episode...

The way Zoya was trying to gain strength from Asad by looking at him and Dilshad was amazing...

Surbhi nailed it.. her expressions were WAOOOWWW... Hats off to you Surbhi... I flinched myself when the first drop of mehendi was put on her... Her pain was beautifully portrayed by Surbhi... Perfect emotions... Her pain reached the audience...

You are right. There were so many BTS videos regarding the mehndi. We knew everything beforehand. So that did spoil the fun. Maybe that's the reason why they are keeping everything under the wraps regarding the upcoming track. But then I must admit the suspense is killing me! 😆
