Dunno at the time of signing the contract Mr KSG

knew that the female lead will be more dominant in terms of intelligence for the show

Did he know the impact this would have on die hard fans when he signed the dotted lines

and that he risks losing them?

This is the first show I am watching apart from SSLK where the female outdoes the male lead 😕

I suppose I made this post as it was the the last straw, but I agree I should not be upset, afterall it is a soap opera, but did not expect the main lead to be used this way

Shows run in phases and this balance of brains goes the see-saw way. Right now, the fight is over Asad where Asad has been kept in the dark.

And FYI, you need to see a legal contract of a TV actor. Clauses are meant to be for agreement - they are not supposed to be RIDICULOUS.

yeah but the actor has to have at least some say on the plot, lest it does permenant damage to his/her character

And how do you know that the actor has no say? All plots are told to the cast in advance and they know exactly what is happening. What appears an IQ failure to you, is a trust failure on the script level. Anyway, your opinion. But i answered just to tell you that contracts have unusual clauses but even clauses have to be to-the-point and sensible.

Please, a show runs on basis of story, and requirement of the character in a track and not who the actor is. The characters sketch is decided by the creatives, and the job of the actor is to make the character a part of him and make it real to the people watching him or her. And if you feel angry or annoyed at Asad , I think Karan has done his job well.
