OH EM GEE! 😆
I just ❤️this story so, so much! I love Zoe's geek-speak, I love possessive and jealous Akdu, I love the Zoya-Phoopi-Najma trio and hey, I even love Malak (he's a great friend to Zoya as of now, and plus he makes Akdu seethe with jealousy 😆). But I know there's more to him! This sudden deterioration in health is very curious!
"Not all of us enjoy a diet of tree bark and liquid protein. Some of us think food is a pleasure and should be enjoyed." This line made me laugh so much 😆And I totally agree with the second sentence! Man, your dialogue-writing is awesome!
"Stop it, both of you," she snaps. "You're like two little boys fighting over the same toy." I read this line over and over again and it hit me how very appropriate it is. I wonder if Zoya actually realizes what she just said 😆
But this one line: "Nothing will keep me away from Ms. Farooqui, not a security guard, not all the electronics in the world and most certainly not you." It made me melt into a big puddle of happiness and bliss 😳I was awww-ing everytime I read this line (and I read this whole chapter three times over so there was definitely a lot of awww-ing) 😆
"I don't care what you found, Ms. Farooqui," Asad snaps. "You are here in my office, drinking my soda and trying my patience. I should be your focus." OMG 😲Akdu Ahmed Khan! Why you so possessive about Ms. Musibat?! She's trouble to you after all 😉😆Or is she? 😃
'Kay well I think I picked up on a few clues/highly-suspicious activities in this chapter (just like everyone else did) but I'll keep 'em to myself 😆I hope when thebig twist is revealed I'll have an opportunity to experience an 'I-totally-called-it!' moment 😆
Zoya's geek-speak is so very interesting! I wonder which website you find all this information from, since you claim to not know a whole lot about hacking etc. and yet the way you write about it - one would think you're a hacker yourself (in the best way possible of course)! 😆
