I agree and disagree.
Agree, because it depends on the perception and attitude of each individual.
Disagree because, my perception is different.
In my general opinion, love can blossom in two ways, one is purely based on attraction, it can be physical or intellectual attraction, love at first sight is or first conversation is the best example and this kind of love comes from nowhere and it takes time to build the trust. The other kind of love comes from the togetherness, may be being friends, being colleagues or being indulged in arguments over many issues, in these cases the trust and understanding leads to love.
But there is always a minimal trust in love culminated out of attraction, for example if I have a crush on my schoolmate whom I hardly know and someone just tells me that he is a jerk, I won't believe easily because the attraction/love I have for him makes me to give him the benefit of doubt and I won't blindly conclude that he is a jerk even if I see him blasting at someone, I will tend to think may be that person has compelled him to do that. So that's the minimal amount of subconscious trust which generates automatically the moment you get attracted towards someone until and unless the person you are attracted is proven wrong with valid reason.
