i loved this d most! u described everything so aptly

1. The new montage is lovely and loving but it shows a stark difference between Asad and Zoe as individuals and even the dynamics of their relationship. Asad loves her but his expression of love will always be subtle, ( unless Zoe is dying or flying back to NY) , controlled. His personality will always be a major barrier. But Zoe, as per the new montage , will give away everything that she has to Asad, leaning on to him and centering her life around him ( as we have been seeing the progression of her graph towards Asad). Asad , maybe inexpressive, alienated but always on Zoe's back. And Zoe, with him or without him, but always knowing that he is right there - behind her and he's got her back. Asad is the complication and Zoe is the beauty of this heavily imbalanced and yet inseparable love.

Good one Vicky. The writers did goof up, looks like they completely forgot. I don't have the stats about the change of writers and directors in the show if there were any but many a times these kind of loopholes happen because of such changes, don't they?

Coming to Asad, I can't take it that he forgot to consider that even Zoya almost kissed death just a few minutes/hours before the cat blazed herself. He was all set to confess his feelings just before the accident and then in the hospital he acts as though like he was dealing with a stranger. From preparing for a passionate confession to act totally indifferent is quite weirdo. While directing these kind of nuances must be hitting the eye right? I mean I don't know. Just asking.

I loved the precap. Karan as always gave a mindblowing expression of his regret. I loved your justification about why Zoya feels the way she does when things come to her reaction revolving Asad. So true to her character. Lovely review Vicky.

Yes that maybe the writer's fault that Asad does not remember abt Zoya's fear of fire

But still I find it a little difficult to understand this weird characteristic of Asad

He says he loves Zoya but whatever goes wrong is usually her fault as per him & he blames her automatically without any thought whatsoever 🤢

In my mind love is good but trust is even more needed in any sort of relationship to make it work 😲

And more so for such different character like Asad & Zoya 😕

I think this cycle has gone long enough! I also have a feeling that even though Zoya will find out abt Billi but Asad will never believe her 😡

And here comes the lack of trust in their relationship 😲

How can their relation progress ??

This was a beautifully written post. I just wanted to add my 2 cents. This is not a justification coz I honestly thought that we were done with Asad's blame game (that one actually blind-sided me) but I think Asad never realized how deep-seated her fear of fire is coz she said that she had dreams of fire but never why or if she had any experience with it. If you go back to that conversation, it was more about her parents than the fire. The fire was a really small part and she doesn't even remember it herself so that's the only thing that I can think of regarding Asad's memory loss. I don't think Asad is a jackass but I really wish he would understand and trust Zoya a little more. I think it's about time in terms of their relationship. It keeps going one step forward and then 2 steps backforward.

Gul's couples are always imbalanced and handicapped in the conventional definition of what a relationship should not be. Geet-Maan, Arnav-Khushi and now, Asad-Zoe . Strong personalities, strong love but equally dangerous issues. That is how we create angst and agony.

If Asad goes a total 'yes man' on Zoe, we suffer on the angst and passion. If Zoe becomes all coy and submissive, the fight chemistry goes out.

Asad is damaged . Zoe is imperfect. In the real sense of the word, unfit for each-other but in the love-conquers-all lingo, they are made for each-other.

I've noticed it too. In yesterday's segment and today's segment. They seemed a little annoyed already. Gul better end this Tanveer track as soon as possible.
