RES
Have I mentioned lately how much I love your creative track? And your writing?
This was another heart wrenching update. I can't believe that Asad remembered Nikhat's name. I really thought he didn't bother to get to know her at all. But I love how he was trying to convince Ayaan to send Zoya there with him so she'd be safe. He's already so concerned for her. Partly because of his history and partly because of his own attraction toward her, physically, and emotionally. They share their pain. And he sees that. I love him for that.
And Najma, omg I was tearing up seeing her reaction. I wanted to smack Noor at first. But when she slapped her friend, I could see where she was coming from. I've seen my friend suffer and crave for her father's love. Of course her father still supports her, but he didn't even go to her high school OR college grads and they never meet. Poor Najma and poor Noor. One suffering for her friend, and the other aching to know her brother. I love how Noor realized that Najma had a point about Asad referring to Najma as his sister, and not just some stranger. I'm really excited to see what Noor plans on doing to find out Asad's feelings towards Najma and their whole situation.
And the other heart wrenching scene, Ayaan opening up to Zoya. I love that for once he refused to just bow his head down and follow Asad's orders. But it's also interesting to see that after all this time, he still feels indebted to Asad. And now even more so that he knows that Asad actually remembers his sister's name. His breakdown infront of Zoya was so sad and at the same time a pleasure to read. Because it allowed Zoya to see the pain that Ayaan is going through, and that there is yet another side to Asad Ahmed Khan. I really am excited to see more of this Asad. And I hope Zoya isn't too horrified when she learns that she'll be working at his company ๐ญ
Beautiful update as usual. Can't wait for the next emotion packed update ๐ณ
